Pepperell BB6-100-001 6mm Bonnie Macramé Craft Cord, 100-Yard, White

I ordered this thicker item rather than normal thin cotton since I use it all the time. From binding rolled up bedding to holding plants together to macrame, it's very handy to have around the house.

The cord has very vibrant color and it is fairly durable. It has better color and easier to tie then 550.

I use it for oversized cachepot I make. Thus time I am working decorative ropes for white outdoor swing bench and then I will macrame sides of the stand with fixed pockets for plant baskets so planters won't be in the way of the swing.

I have never worked with macrame before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I wanted to make something (crochet) that would hold my extra yarn. Well, I found a basket pattern online and decided to give it a try. I’m glad I did! This basket is so sturdy and big. It holds several skeins of yarn and I don’t have to “search” for it anymore. I have plans to buy more macrame, I need a few more baskets. Like I said, I have never worked with it before but I can guarantee you when I buy more, I will buy this product!

Purchased this to replace the seating of our backyard swing. It was very easy to pull from the center and restring the entire piece after attaching with a knot. The cord seems to be endless even though it is 100 yards. I ended up using a little over two on a three person swing.The only problem I had was that it did wear one of the strings when I was pulling it through. At that point the weave was too small to pass the ball through and I could have been more careful. This has held up well and is very strong when used for seating.

I ordered this product to use for making hanging planters to make use of the ridiculous number of hooks in my home. It's a good, solid cord that I'm comfortable using to hold the weight of a regular-sized house plant. The color is strong and even (I ordered black) and the cord is well made.It lost a star simply because it unravels REALLY easily. It's a synthetic fabric, and with the way it's made... I suppose I shouldn't take a star away from that. I don't know how you could have a synthetic fabric woven like this that won't unravel when cut. But quite honestly, if you use a dab of hot glue on the end IMMEDIATELY after you cut it (you might be able to burn/melt, too, but I wasn't willing to try that), you could solve the problem.I'm happy with this product, would order it again and again and in many different colors, and it's exactly what I needed for the project.
