Purchased this volume for our 5 year old to go with her lap harp Christmas gift. The book is very nice, fits the harp perfectly and offers a good variety. The item arrived quickly from its independent seller and included a nice handwritten note on a printed description of the item and explanation about how some of the proceeds are donated to some animal welfare organizations -- it was like a little bonus gift, because this book, with shipping, was not inexpensive. I think it's worth it, though, to build your lap harp music library. If my daughter continues to play as enthusiastically as she has, I am guessing we will end up ordering more volumes in the future.

I got a zither/lap harp for my family this Christmas and I was looking for some music. I saw this sweet book of music and I am so glad I ordered it. As I was wrapping the present today, I tried it out. I am completely unmusical, unlike the rest of my family, and even I could play from these charts. The book slides perfectly under the strings, and it is so clear and obvious what strings you should play that anyone would be able to do it. Great selection of songs too! Super fast shipping and the seller/author was kind enough to include a sweet personal message and autograph which makes it even more special! Highly recommended!

Love it! Easy to read and play at the same time. Beautiful, simple arrangements that almost anyone can play

I originally had one of these lap harps for my own children, and loved the sound and the concept. Therefore when I had grands I bought one of each for the families. 2 of the 3 needed serious tuning but still love the product. The Christmas music is great and I love that it is spiral bound. Just know it is probably not for preschoolers. A couple may be, but I would not recommend this music for children under 6 or 7 unless they are gifted.

Lots of classics

this book has many songs, with different levels of difficulty from easy to challenging, which I really like. All the songs you know and love for Christmas and a few lesser known, too. A great collection!

I had one of these harmony music players when I was little so bought one for my granddaughter for Christmas. She loves playing with it BUT it is out of tune on two of the lower strings and with adjustments, I still can't seem to get it sounding right and I don't understand why except that something other than the string tightening/loosening must be the problem. She still likes playing with it because she really doesn't understand yet having it in tune. But I feel that because of this issue, I can only give it a 2-star. I would love to hear from the seller how to resolve this problem.

When I first got the book, I was unsure about it. My zither wasn't tuned with the F# and all the songs played off. When I figured out my error, the musice finally came out. My nephews and niece really enjoy playing Christmas music with me: I accompany them on my guitar. Even my sibs don't mind plucking out a tune when they think no one is paying attention. I really like the notation that has basic rhythms in standard notation. My oldest niece can figure out the timings and teach her cousins if they don't know the carol. Overall a very good book for lap harps and building a fun musical christmas tradition.
