It’s not hot to sleep on
I was worried after receiving it because it’s polyester inside, even though the top is all cotton. I haven’t found it to be too hot though. It fits the bed well and is clean and comfortable.

Cool percale top & fits well.
The surface is very cool, and the "skirt" part fits well. But it isn't quite as thick as I expected so I gave it one less star. Otherwise it's pretty nice!

Misleading “100% Cotton,” Poor Quality, Wrong Fit
I was very disappointed with the Sealy Luxury 100% Cotton Soft Top Layer (Queen size). Despite being advertised as 100% cotton, the cotton top , is only a very thin top layer. The rest of the material is clearly polyester. The construction quality is also poor. The seams started coming apart after minimal use, which is unacceptable for a bedding product at this price point. On top of that, the sizing is off. Although it’s labeled as a Queen size, it’s actually too large and shifts constantly. I have to adjust it daily, which defeats the purpose of a mattress top layer. Overall, this product does not match its description, is poorly made, and does not fit properly. I would not recommend it.

Love the cotton top and the stretchy sides. Wraps around our Queen size mattress beautifully and doesn’t shift or come loose! Washes and dries up perfectly, no shrinking. Great price for a quality product!
