iDesign Stainless Steel Sink Grid for Kitchen Sink with Center Drain - Polished

This is a nice rack made of stainless steel so it doesn't rust and become discolored. I love this addition to my sink so I can lay dishes in the sink to dry rather than take up some of my counter space with a drying rack. I have a double sink and this fits perfectly on the sink floor. This has rubber tips on the feet, too, to give further protection between the sink and rack. Really sturdy rack that is a nice quality.

Love these sink grids. Prevents silverware from sliding under like it did on my previous grid. Material is good-no rusting after months of use. Being slightly elevated allows sink to dry without risk of mold buildup.

My search for a gird for an Ariel 26" kitchen sink (interior dimensions 24x18x10d) was futile. After using the sink for a while, I was less concerned with scratching than with debris getting stuck on whatever might be in the sink. I especially wanted no possibility of back flow when prepping foods. This grid, despite its size, turned out to be a terrific answer. Oriented so the longer side is front to back, the grid just covers the drain hole. So, approximately half of the sink is not covered by the grid. The grid can slide from side to side for clean up. Things in the sink are up off the floor of the sink and debris flows freely into the drain. The grid pattern provides a stable surface for objects I put on it. Nothing topples over. The grid itself is very sturdy, upscale looking stainless steel, and quiet on its little clear feet. It shows no signs of wear after a few months of daily use. An additional value is its versatility in the kitchen; I have cleaned it and pressed it into duty as a large cooling grid for cookies. The price is so much better than any grid actually made for near zero-radius sinks as to make this an impressive choice.

This product has been great! When you have a sink full of dishes the water still drains like there are no dishes in the sink. I got one with a hole and the other without. I actually like that the hole isn't aligned with the drain because nothing falls in the drain like forks or other utensils. There has been so many times I have turned on the garbage disposal without seeing a utensil in there and completely scratched up the spoon or fork! Now nothing drops in that garbage disposal that isn't supposed to drop. I do like the hole located in the middle of the rack with the garbage disposal because I can drop bigger food particles in that hole without it building up on the rack or getting stuck on the rack. Basically less cleaning for me! This product also helps stand glasses so they don't fall over or slide when you put more dishes in the sink. I can put a glass in while staking more and it's still great for not moving. I scrub dishes on one side (usually where the garbage disposal is) then place it in the next side. After I stacked all scrubbed dishes I run it under water and store away to dry. It's nice once you scrubbed it to have another side that's elevated so the clean dishes aren't touching the bottom of the sink. Also the water drains great once I rinse them all off. Another pro is when placing the dishes in the sink there is not a loud noise with the dish hitting the sink. No more loud dish sounds. Kids can place the dishes in your sink without you being startled by the sound and baby can sleep in the same room. I also love the fact it protects your sink from scratches. I have an iron skillet and the thing is heavy. There are so many times I've accidentally dropped it in the sink. Now the sink is protected by my clumsiness.

I like the product EXCEPT that the center drain hole is too small for my Insinkerator garbage disposal drain stopper. I can't put the sink stopper in the drain, or take it out without removing the entire grid----which is inconvenient. The thing I do like about it is that it is stainless steel. This replaced a RubberMaid sink mat, which always required scrubbing to clean it and even then didn't clean up very well as it aged. This mat requires NO MAINTENANCE since it is stainless steel---and the four feet on the mat are covered in silicone so the mat doesn't scratch the sink. If the center drain hole was just 1/2 larger, I would give it 5 stars.

Creates a flat surface in a curved bottom sink. Looks great! Is easy to clean
