The Mealworm Company LIVEFOODS DIRECT Calci Worms Pack of 100 14g

Don't buy these. The calciworms arrived in the usual clear plastic container but the lid wasn't completely closed and 8 were crawling about loose in the outer cardboard box. Never known that before; hopefully none escaped from the box en route. I counted 92 in the plastic container so yes, 100 calciworms were delivered... along with 2 very much alive bonus mystery creatures - a fat flying ant that definitely wasn't a black soldier fly (which is what calciworms eventually evolve in to) and a many-legged reddish centipede/wire worm thingy. The calciworms and their bedding having been separated from the 2 unknown beasties were transferred into a clean container and I messaged them. They replied their bugs are bred without any pesticides used and other things can't be stopped getting into the tubs as they are all over the factory... the 2 other creatures were harmless and sound like fuzzy bugs which are sold as food for birds and reptiles. Also, I could just put them out for wild birds which will be very grateful.Yes, I thought that too. I did an online search for fuzzy bugs but nothing resembled what I had received in my order. In the meantime, the calciworms all died within a fortnight so I messaged again and was asked to provide pictures of the labels on the original outer box for a refund but I had already destroyed the box and container in case of other interlopers.No apology for the unknown creatures has ever been offered. Eventually I asked for a refund which was given as a gesture of "goodwill".Not my best online shopping experience but I've learned my lesson; shan't buy from them again.

Ordered a box of 100 of these to try out for our bearded dragon but I mustn’t have got more than 20-25 usable ones as the rest were all dead.

Brilliant lively little calcies. Unfortunately our leo gecko won't get through them quick enough but highly recommend this supplier. Super fast delivery too.

Lasted long than expected. Hedgehog loved them, as long as they moved and did not try to play dead.

Great! All came alive but a few worms got out of the tub into the surrounding box, so be careful with how you open it. Very fast delivery!! (Only 3 days!)

Lots of worms, no casters all arrived quickly and well packed happy bearded dragon and happy owner. Will be buying again best seller so for for these on Amazon
