I recently purchased two Vornado VFAN Petite Alchemy Vintage Fans, and I’m very pleased with them. The design and color are absolutely beautiful, giving a retro touch to any room. The fan makes just enough sound to help me sleep, which is a nice bonus. I love that it has three-speed options, allowing me to choose the perfect airflow. The compact size is another plus, as one fits perfectly on my bedroom side table and the other on my office desk. While it doesn't have a rotating feature, it’s still a great fan that does its job well. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase and would recommend this fan to anyone looking for a stylish and functional air circulator.

Nice fan. Works well and nice design. Looks classy. Moves air around the room as you would expect a fan to do, and it is fairly quiet. It has a much better safety grill than the old indestructible Voronado fans that I grew up with. Those things lasted 50 years somehow...

Bought this to replace our floor fan in the living room, which was an eye sore. Very nice look. Blends in well and works great. Blows a lot fo air for it's size!

I love this fan, I also like the Varnado Brand of Fans. They just produce a good product plus these vintage designs are tough to find in your hometown market. The fan was delivered promptly and looks great in my home.

I bought this fan hoping it would produce a strong stream of air for up to about three feet but still be small enough to be unobtrusive in the room. It totally is! I've had it running almost non-stop for about two months and it hasn't had a single issue. You can also dust it easily with some compressed air (haven't attempted taking it apart). As for sound, the "3" speed is too loud to talk over if right next to it (as most if not all fans on their highest setting would be). The "2" speed is more background white noise, and the "1" speed is so quiet that I accidentally have left the house with it on because I forgot about it. Overall 5 stars for me--very pleased with the quality, look, and size of the fan. One caveat, most of the fan components are sturdy metal and feel great. The dial is plastic though which is very odd--why make the singular piece that is touched the most out of plastic when the rest of the fan is metal? Still, that hasn't affected the utility of the fan. ****I've had this fan for roughly two years at this point. I don't have it on all the time anymore either, now it just sits on my work desk for the occasional use. It's still mostly great and does what I want it to. However, it makes a high pitched sound sometimes when I first turn it on now. If I let it go a few minutes, it will stop, and I also discovered that it will instantly stop if I literally thump the fan anywhere. Weird.

Vornado makes the best table fans, and they are worth the price. This one is from their retro designer luxury line, and it's a work of art. It's heavy, mostly all metal, premium copper-on-black materials...even the packaging is deluxe (including a drawstring dust cover). The slow speed is the quietest I have ever heard, almost inaudible, yet it moves a whole roomful of air with that amazing Vornado turbulence. It is SO quiet that you can forget it's on. A dim amber power light would help, but it's really perfect just as it is. Although style and quality were decision factors, I bought it because you can take the whole thing apart and clean the grill, blades, case and even the motor housing separately. A ritzy owner's manual tells you how in great detail with diagrams. Fans need periodic cleaning. Otherwise, over time, you're just blowing dust accumulated on the fan into your room, and gumming up the works with the friction. This feature should really extend fan life far beyond the 5-yr warranty. Another example of spending more for quality up front to get better performance and longer life (the same goes for clothing, TVs, automobiles and just about everything else). Besides, it looks so sexy sitting there on the table. A beautiful blend of quality, style and function, made in the USA!

This fan looks great, is very quiet and got here in three days though it was supposed to take 10 days. I'm grateful as it's been muggy and 100 degrees here in Nebraska. This is my second Vornado fan--they are well worth the money. Take care of them and they last a long time.

First of all I’ve purchased 5 Vornado fans ( not including this one) for my parents and myself since 2020. I love the air circulation and the effectiveness of them. I purchased this one because I liked the look of it a “cool vibe” that looked great in my living room. Today exactly one year from purchase it stopped, nothing wrong with outlet, fan just stopped working. I didn’t purchase warranty because I’ve had such good experience with my other fans. I’m disappointed because I’ve recommend Vornado to others, so just consider a warranty if you purchase. EDIT contacted Vornado and they are sending out a replacement GREAT customer service Thank you!

Really effective at cooling my office room, even at the lowest fan setting. Also looks really nice and fits in well with the room's aesthetic. The only drawback is that the noise level is a bit high at the higher fan settings. But since it's already so effective at the lowest setting, that doesn't really bother me.

The fan itself is very loud notwithstanding the rattle on the back from a part that wasn’t fitted properly. It then stopped working after approximately 10 minutes of use.

As advertised. Good build quality, quiet operation. Keeps the bedroom from getting stuffy.
