Bought this bag for a four year old. The size is just right. Approximately 16 inches long. The bag is actually a really nice dark chocolate colour. The straps feel cushiony and comfortable. The zippers feel sturdy. The side pockets are sturdy as well. The lunch bag is roomy and can hold up to two bento boxes or lunch containers. It is insulated as well. Material on the school bag and lunch bag is easy to clean and waterproof. There is also a pencil case as well. Very satisfied with the purchase.

My daughter is 5 going on six and quitetall for her age, this book bag is a great fit and she absolutely loves it! Shipping was a bit slow as I seemed to have ordered while they were restocking... Is very soft and comfy. my daughter loves it. i even like the blue bag that comes with it. it come in hand. the lunch bag is a polar- pack. which is good. keep lunch warm or cold.
