Great for DIY, Starting Tool for HVAC-R pros
I'm not a pro so I can't review it at that level but I purchased this because I was pretty certain my system was low on refrigerant. Picked this up and some freon... and for under a few hundred bucks got my HVAC working well. Obviously you need to have some basic knowledge but I think these set of gauges worked really well for what I needed. I think it'd be a good starting tool for anyone wanting to get in HVAC-R trades or for people like myself, great to have for DIY repairs.

Definitely a great product for DIY maintenance.
Great quality for the DIY person who's sick of HVAC companies ripping you off. I have an older unit but it still runs. It has a slow leak so I bought these and some refrigerant online and saved myself $1400 dollars. These should be fine for checking and refilling your own system from time to time. Easy to read gauges great quality hoses. Concerned about the longevity of the brass fittings.

Great for DIY AC
The quality is sufficient for what I used it for. It was used to fill R22 into my home AC unit. I had to watch tutorials on the process but the gauge itself was easy to use. The description of the manifold gauge set was accurate.

Perfect for DIY
I’m not in the HVAC industry, my father is. He said that these gauges are perfect for someone who uses them occasionally. Probably not for someone who is a HVAC service tech. We used them to charge up my AC and they worked great.

Could not use/received full refund
Hoses that came with it would not push the schraders on my unit so I could not check my pressures.. I had to use some old hoses from a previous set.. update --it has BEEN WEEKS SINCE COMPANY CONTACTED ME, OFFERED TO SEND ME NEW HOSES.. NEVER CAME THRU.. WORTHLESS CUSTOMER SERVICE... Once my review was posted I was not contacted by seller, but a few days later a full refund was posted on my account. Hopefully others will not have this problem and have to wait weeks for a response
