Makes the oil drain process clean and easy!
I purchased two of the EZ-106 EZ Drain Valves, the first one about a year ago and another one recently for a second oil catch can. The oil catch cans shown in the images are both available on Amazon... search via the ASIN: B085NCY2S8 "SPEEDWOW Coolant Radiator Overflow Tank Reservoir Expansion Aluminum 1L" if you're interested in that item. The 14mm-1.5 tread fit perfectly with the threaded port on the bottom of the catch can and allows me to attach a drain hose for emptying when the catch can is full (usually about every 1-2K miles). Overall, this EZ-106 drain valve has exceeded my expectations. In the year of use that I have had one of them, it hasn't leaked, loosened, rusted, or broke. The plastic cover on the valve arm is nice and comfortable for your finger, and the valve arm locks in place so you know it is fully closed. Not much more to say other than it is a worth while purchase that makes the job of oil drains super easy and very clean.

BUY THIS NOW...best auto part ever
This is perhaps the wisest purchase I've ever made for a vehicle. I'm using the EZ-106 on my 2017 Honda Civic LX. Installation (if you can call it that) was simple and straightforward. No leaks or anything like that. The valve works as designed.I use a 3-foot piece of vinyl tubing to attach to the nipple and allow the oil to flow into a pan. It does take a bit longer to drain the oil than it did with the normal factory plug, but doing so without any spills or oil-covered hands is a bargain trade-off.The quality is top notch and the price point is right. Everyone should have one of these on his/her vehicle. The environment and your skin would thank you.Honestly, I'm surprised these weren't invented 80 years ago and even more surprised that car manufacturers have not adopted them as an industry standard. And why hasn't the EPA mandated them? I had a similar idea to invent one of these many years ago and then discovered someone else had thought of it too.

Fantastic product
Update: I just ordered a new EZ drain oil drain valve for my newest auto. These things are awesome. Even if you don't do your own oil changes, you will benefit. On a previous car, I was using the dealership for all my oil changes every three months (4000 miles) because they offered a great price. After repeated visits they eventually stripped the threads in my oil pan (due to carelessness and over tightening the drain plug). The replacement oil pan was over $300 (aluminum oil pan). Then add the cost of installation. That is when I purchased my first EZ drain. Guess what, no more stripped threads. So, save yourself the aggravation and get yourself an EZ drain oil drain valve. You will be glad you did.First review: This EZ oil drain valve is easy to install and works great. No more removing the oil drain plug each time I do an oil change. The EZ oil drain valve is very well made and is basically foolproof. I have one of these on both of our vehicles.

Quality Valve for the Money
This works well for my application. It is installed as a drain valve for a parts washing tank and was a direct replacement for the M14 x 1.5 drain plug. The small handle for the valve is spring loaded and will drop into a detent on the valve body when closed preventing unintended opening. The internal ball appears to be stainless steel as well. The valve body also came with an O-Ring installed in the mating surface where it meets the tank. No leaks and easy operation when time to drain the tank.

Works on my 2021 Mercedes Sprinter
We use our Mercedes Sprinter with the 2.1L diesel 4 cylinder for over the road expediting freight. We installed this quick drain valve at our first oil change and now it has been two years and we have 175k miles on our van. It has NEVER leaked, or accidentally popped open while we were driving or parked, nor has it been accidentally been opened by debris we’ve hit in the road. Whether you’re changing the oil yourself or taking it to a quick lube, it is so easy to use and operate! If it’s windy when you’re changing your oil you can attach a hose to it to drain it to a pan with out being splattered in the wind! You also will never have to worry about an inexperienced tech stripping out the threads of your oil pan drain bolt hole by over tightening. Buy it! Simply, it works!

Make sure you get the right thread size
Didn’t work on my 2015 F150 with 3.5 engine supposed to be the right threads, but it would not screw in the oil pan supposed to work with a 14 mm thread, but it didn’t work

Not for TDI
Quality product, but does NOT fit VW TDI pan.

Jeep Jk 3.8 l engine oil valve.
This is my second one. Replaced my engine and needed a new one. This makes changing your oil too easy. Just connect a hose to the end put into a container and open the valve. Makes oil changes too easy. Now the hardest part is removing the oil filter. But wrapping a puppy pad over everything under it makes that easy to keep off all my drivetrain. If you have no armor for your engine then it could be a problem. I have a complete Metalcloak armor under my Jeep. Also doing an oil change whyle the oil is hot is no problem because you never touch the oil.
