These lamps take a special light bulb which inst included. That's sooooo disappointing, because now I have to find the bulb. I have not been able to evaluate the brightness or appreciate the beauty, because there is no light bulb yet. The vendor can improve the product experience by 100%, by including the light since it takes a special type.

I have this lamp in my bedroom loft (tiny house) and it gives off just the right amount of light. It sparkles and is just simply beautiful. Light bulbs were a little tricky to find but luckily DollarTree sells them.

Looks so much more expensive than it is! There was no assembly required and the only thing needed was the bulb.

Beautiful! I bought the wrong lights for it so I put one of my kids night lights in it for now. I love it! My kids love it too! Super different and neat! It's a C7 socket if you are searching for the light to put in there

I’m kind of surprised this item is so highly rated. My first thought when I opened it was weird I’ve never received a crystal lamp with a certificate of crystal authenticity before. As I pulled it out of the box I thought hmmm I see why they put that in there these look like plastic. I tapped one and thought no that’s glass. Put a bulb in and thought wow no cast prism sparkles. Went to another crystal fixture that is similar in my house and felt the crystals and figured out why this globe fixture has so little sparkle. The “crystals” are molded, not cut. The edges feel like cuts but the facets are molded so light doesn’t deflect from the facets the way a cut crystal fixture would. You can see tiny bits of rainbow if you look closely at the individual crystals but nothing like a cut crystal bead. I know it’s not an expensive lamp but I have inexpensive hanging fixtures with this same type of cage holding the crystals and they are cut crystals, super sparkly. That said it is a pretty lamp. If you don’t care about prism deflection it does cast light pattern on the walls. Someone less exacting or who doesn’t have any expectation of prism effect probably wouldn't even notice.

I like this lamp, I think it really adds character to a room, HOWEVER, I wish the light base was a bit shorter. I put an LED light for this lamp, which is probably 1/8" shorter than a standard 5W, however, being the design on the bulb socket is a bit to long, you don't get the full effect of the light reflecting and emanating through the "crystals" from top to bottom, basically you only get half of the supposed to be full crystal ball effect. It's a very nice lamp, don't get me wrong, I just think it could use a minor design tweak.

I am a lover of all things silver and crystal, and since I'm moving to a more contemporary and modern style, I thought I'd try this light. It's beautiful! A nice size, about 10", not too small or too large. I'm buying a second and may use them next to the bed on nightstands. It would make a great single accent light anywhere too. Note that this is an accent light, not a task light, though for me I can still see things reasonably well around it. One star off because the pieces aren't crystal or glass but plastic, but I have a lot of experience with the other and they are a real chore to clean. This material seems like it will take only a minor dusting every so often.Update: I've purchased two now because I loved it so much, and I've tried it all over the house. I like it best when not wide out in the open, but when in a smaller, tighter space, like on a bookshelf in between books/other accessories. It creates a beautiful pattern against the back wall, which you wouldn't see if it was on top of a shelf. It is also very nice in a collage of three items, one taller above it. I'm still enthusiastically recommend this light! And $45 is an amazing price.

Great crystal ball lamp, but don't try to put a led chandelier bulb into it cause the bulb won't fit between the cross support on the bottom. Will only take filament chandelier style bulbs.

Beautiful light, the only problem it’s finding the light bulbs the fit inside the light... so the width off the light bulb has to be 1.25” for this light and not 1.38” which most of the E12 are.After buying couple of wrong bulbs I managed to find :“CRLight 2W Dimmable LED Filament Candelabra Light Bulb, 4000K Neutral White 300LM, E12 Candle Base Lamp, B10 Torpedo Shape Bullet Top, Clear Glass Cover, 30W Incandescent Replacement, 6 Pack”It’s available on Amazon as well...

I would've given it a 5 star but the whole for the bulb is way too small to fit a dimable light bulb (light way too bright) sucks though because it's beautiful.

Very small, this is more a night light not like a lamp at all. Shipping very long, I ordered in June and received it end of August.
