Absolutely love this pack
Absolutely love this pack! Bought it as a backpack/daypack/carry on for a trip to Ireland and feel in love with the versatility and size of this beast. It easily fits under airplane seats or in the overhead. This thing is built like a tank and I am tough on my travel gear. If you are looking for something with versatility and reliability this is it. I've used mine consistently for the past year every weekend and it's showing very little signs of wear and tear. The straps easily stow into the pack itself making it a nice two handle duffle bag or its comfortable to wear as a backpack. The waist strap makes it adjustable for long hikes and you can easily adjust and shift it as your pack shifts or changes.I love the extra pockets for stashing small med kits, books, Kindle, and what have you. The expansion of the pack is nice to allow for extra room on the return trip from places.Granted... I'm a guy so i don't pack a lot but this could very easily be used for a week long get away if you know how to pack only the essentials.

Great bug-out bag, lots of space
Pros: being military, then turned contractor supporting them, I need a bag that can be ready to go at all times. Not only can I fit everything I need for an extended amount of time in this bag, I can organize it efficiently thanks to all the outer pockets. With 7 outer pockets and one very large storage space-that expands an additional 3 inches out, anything and everything goes. Just to give an example, I just finished living out of this one bag for 5 weeks, and could have gone longer if needed.Cons: the only thing I would change is the waist harness. One side slips out of the d ring, even when not in use. I would also add more padding to the belt. Another small really not that important change would be to enlarge the holes on the zipper so I can get a lock through the holes. I can lock up the main compartment and 2 of the outer pockets...very nice, if I can get a lock through there, one that is worth something. But, as you can see, I still give the bag 5 stars. It is a great bag, made well (I have stuffed more tha 50 pounds of gear into it, no problem with space to spare), and can handle the beatings. (This bag has been thrown on and off choppers, stacked under palletize gear, kicked, and dragged through rock and moon dust. It just keeps going...Yeah, I would buy it again and I bought one for my kiddo as well.)

Good pack, good price
I've been using this as my go-to bag for weekend and short business trips. It's big enough for me to fit a few days worth of gear in, which is exactly what I was looking for. As far as downsides: the zippers were pretty stiff when it showed up and the shoulder straps are attached with plastic hooked clips. The zippers have since improved, and like one of the other reviewers, I replaced the plastic clips with metal ones. It's held up well so far, and for the price, I'm happy with it.

Hello, New Diaper Bag!
Marines have babies, too, you know. This bag is great. Large, inside (expandable) pouch for changes of clothes, changing pad, etc. Accessible, exterior pouches for wipes, toys, first aid, anything you can think of. It's nice that the straps have their own, zippered pouch so that they can be tucked away; I can easily see carrying this on an airplane. Seems very durable after playing with the straps and zippers.UPDATE: Well, shucks. After three years of kids climbing over it in the car, of shoving it in and out of stroller baskets, of carrying it everywhere... the side fabric split a little. I guess I'll just have to get another! (A couple of the zipper pulls had tugged free during the years, but a quick squeeze of the pliers reattached them for continued use.)

Well made bag and looks nice. Good molle on the front and sturdy
Well made bag and looks nice. Good molle on the front and sturdy.Pros:- Lots of space for gear- Well constructed and sturdy- Many compartments for good storageCons:- Bag isn't fun to wear, doesn't fit well on the back- When filled up, reallly big and clunky. Triples my body size- Straps aren't well constructed and they have to be clipped on which digs into your side and isn't comfortable.

looks good but not hardy enough
got this for a car trunk get out of dodge emergency bag. its ok and lots of compartments but 1. you have to be skinny.....im 250lb and 6-1 and there is no way it fits. 2. after a year it started to fall apart. zippers broke and seams started to come apart. and all its done it sit in my car! not substantial enough, glad i never had to use it. then i did on a test hike and the strap broke. sorry not for me.Update: lazy me I did not replace the bag and ended up in middle of Ohio with busted car and no where to go. Took the get out of dodge bag and tried hiking to next town. Bag was falling apart as I hiked. The shoulder strap broke and I was done with it Not good do not recommend

Well made expandable pack.
I just got this in. It seems to have a high quality and well made. It also appears to have plenty of room, with an internal map pocket, plus a smaller internal mesh pocket. There are the 4 small side pockets, plus the 2 larger M.O.L.L.E. strip pockets on the back. The top one also has Velcro strips running across it, so you can also attach items to the back using Velcro. There are 4 side straps for extra holding power running from the front to the back with 2 on each side.It has a few unusual features, aside from the M.O.L.L.E. strips on the back: There are handles on each side to lift the pack like a suitcase. The shoulder straps tuck away out of sight in a pocket on the front, which could also be used as a map pocket (which is in addition to the internal map pocket). The Velcro on the back allows an alternate way of attaching things to the back of the pack.A nice feature is that it's expandable to add additional pockets on the back with the M.O.L.L.E. strips on the back.My 1st impression is that this is a very nice pack.
