This picnic basket was my selection for a bridal shower gift and it was the gift that brought the most exclamations. It's WONDERFUL. All the appointments are there, down to small (but very useable) salt and pepper shakers and leather straps on the side to hold a blanket or picnic cloth. I paired it with the Tovolo Outdoor Wine Bamboo Table, which I just happened to see while browsing. The bride was ecstatic. Over and over I heard the guests say "THAT is something they will really use!" I ordered it on a Friday afternoon and it arrived on Tuesday, well packed and well wrapped. As I was responsible for choosing the gift from all six hostesses, I was thrilled with the responses. I cannot recommend this gift highly enough.

This product looks great and features everything you need for a picnic for 2. The basket itself doesn’t feel super sturdy, or like the handle can take too much weight. The smaller components that store on the inside of the basket lid are A little hard to get out and get back in once used.

Bought this for a friend as a thank you. It is such a nice basket and has everything you could want. Add food and drinks and head off into the vineyards for an awesome picnic. I also ordered a little Aluminum table and a table cloth with it. Our friends love it!

I never leave reviews, however I am doing so in hopes of saving others the time and expense of returning. Poor quality. Made in China…..That’s all I need to say. If it were $50, maybe…but not $100+

I love this picnic basket! It has everything you need in it, including a matching blanket. I love that it’s sturdier with the canvas covering rather than a traditional wicker basket. It makes it feel sturdier which is great because we’ll be bringing this camping. It is a lot bigger than I was expecting though so keep that in mind if you’re looking for a smaller picnic basket. My only complaint is I wish the handle could fold down, it makes it a little difficult to pack the car because you can’t put anything on top of it.

I bought this picnic basket to take my girlfriend on a date to Minnehaha Falls in Minnesota. Little did she know, I would actually be proposing to her that day :) The picnic basket set the mood perfectly - it was much more enjoyable to have something a little nicer for such a special occassion. My one complaint is that this picnic basket is very heavy. If you have to walk far (more than a mile), I would go with something lighter.

I bought this as a wedding gift. The basket is nice looking and very spacious. Design is good. Some of the drawbacks: 1) the cheese knife is terrible quality. The handle wobbles and is so rough, almost splintery. Makes the whole basket seem cheap. I contacted the company to get a replacement knife and they have not responded. I’ll have to try to find a replacement that fits the straps on my own because I can’t give it as a gift like this. 2) It’s heavy even when it’s empty. Definitely not a carry around picnic, more like a lift-from-car-to-blanket item, which is more what I was looking for anyway, so it’s fine. 3) Not sure if the handle will be able to hold the weight when the basket is full of food/drinks. It’s already heavy when empty. Side handles would be nice, current handle looks good but makes for awkward carrying. 4) The cheese board is a very odd choice - it’s tiny but extremely thick and heavy. You’re carrying around a block of wood, which weighs triple of anything you can possibly cut on it. Why not put a lightweight but sturdy bamboo board instead? 5) The straps that hold the basket lids would have benefited from an extra 1/2 inch in length so you can keep the lids propped open if needed. As they are now, they fall shut as soon as you let go. I’ve tried stretching them a bit which has helped.

I gave this to my family as a holiday gift--something to get us and the dogs in the car and head out for a few hours. Unfortunately, it is the middle of winter and we are probably three months away from being able to do that. We were so impressed with the fact that the dishes were real ceramic, the glasses were made of glass and the cutlery was metal. Everything was of good quality. One special thing to note is the two leather straps on the back (at first I thought they were there to attach to a bike) but in reality the are so that you can roll up the nice picnic blanket and not have to waste interior space on it. This is a great product.

Love the basket. I bought it in 2016. The only issue is that one of the wine glasses was broken. The customer support was great though, they shipped me another basket to replace the one broken glass and paid for the return shipping. I think the design of the basket isn't great for wine glasses made of glass... a plastic alternative would be more robust.
