I bought this for my PS Vita slim a while back and 2 months later it works the way it says, if not better. The installation was a bit tricky at first but it was easy to understand. I uninstalled some parts with ease and some part were a bit difficult to put on (It was difficult personally to me) regardless, 2 months later, because I didn't install it right, it began to peel and I emailed skinomi customer service and they were happy enough to replace my product quickly and easily. It works great and if anything ever happens to it, you can get it replaced for free because of their lifetime warranty. I have to say that's pretty amazing if you asked me, they have definitely made me a customer for life and I intend to buy more products for any other electronics I happen to get in the future.

The shipping on this product was prompt, and installation took me a total of approximately 1.25hrs to complete. I started out by watching the installation video for installing a cell phone screen protector because there was not a specific video for the PS Vita protector. The install was not simple, but I did not find it overwhelming either. Take you time and make sure to spray your fingers between each new piece, and to have the sticky side wet enough to be able to slightly move it around after placement. Once a part was down, I rubbed the contours with the microfiber cloth until the entire piece was completely down. Overall, I think the quality of the skin is fantastic and that it will keep this device in top shape! Nice work Skinomi!!!

Looks great and was super cheap! Wish I would’ve got this on when it was new.. definitely it’s something pretty hard to do and takes lots of time and patience in doing. Practice practice before doing it on a vita you love. Go easy on the spraying not to overspray into the vita. I would put the film over the tempered glass. Also, the serial sticker is the toughest thing I think. Especially if it’s messed up like mine. Might be smarter to take off and clean residue before applying film. I can’t wait to order the Xbox, ps4, etc films! I have one for my iPhone and it’s sick! Just lots of fingerprint smudges…

Got this thing really late like a week after the promised date. Tried it out and followed the instructions. You really have random luck with it. Some have flawless and some have the worst time with it. Took me almost an hour to get the screen before I gave up. No matter what I tried some random speck or little white fibers would end up in the middle of screen by the time the solution dried up. Also back panel was annoying as air bubbles formed thanks to the little rectangle impression and complications forming with the solution. I'm sorry but would recommend a professional or having to ask skinomi for more to practice on.

The Skinomi skin for my PS Vita Slim has been a journey to say the least. When I got my first skin I meticulously applied it to the entire device; the whole application process, of which didn't turn out perfect despite great effort, took around an hour and a half. Seeing as I got the skin to keep my device in pristine condition, I decided to remove the side pieces (installing these particular pieces was nothing short of suffering) in order to hopefully get a better application the second time around. When I removed the piece that laid over the serial number sticker the entire sticker came right off with the skin. Already the whole process has been exhausting, and now the product that was meant to keep my device in perfect condition has already done the exact antithesis of its purpose. Less than perfection was not an option, and I sold my defaced Vita on eBay due to the missing sticker. I know some of you reading this will think my move was extreme or even ridiculous, and I won't even argue said perspective. But ultimately I got this skin to keep the device in perfect condition without having to worry about scratches or wear.Luckily Skinomi's customer service was a light at the end of a deep, dark tunnel. Without hesitation they sent me a replacement skin for my new Vita (I bought a new one after taking the hit on eBay). The second application went a lot smoother as I only applied the front screen protector and back touch pad protector. I can only hope that in 24 hours that the skin will operate as expected.While the customer service was very accommodating and the product is alright when applied correctly please keep one thing in mind: installation will probably convince you to toss your device into the garbage disposal. No really, installation of this product is maddening. I wish I could have paid a Skinomi representative to install the product for me, but that is wishful thinking. I've worked with "wet application" skins in the past, and this one is no more difficult. Just know that the more curves a device has, the more frustration you will run into. Still protecting my device.Easy to install and enough time to adjust.Only gripe is that it took 2 days for the micro bubbles to go away. Other than that a great product

It seems like a great idea, but once you get it its very intimidating: all those thin, plastic covers wrapping ALL around your vita... I didn't even use this, but i'm going to keep it around in case my vita starts getting scratches so i can prevent bigger ones. i imagine this would make the vita touchscreen less responsive, and i got a refurbished vita so it already had a few scratches.Update: I tried to apply this, and although it did not make the touch screen any less responsive, this is not typical adhesive and is extremely sticky. I accidentally touched the back side while i was trying to apply it, and it left fingerprints on the back and was not a clean fit. I say this is not typical adhesive because you have to apply fluid to the back before application, and it leaves a sticky residue on your vita if you try to remove it. I will be buying a simpler screen protector. Wish it worked better, would have been a nice protector
