We love these shelves because i wanted something that looked nice rather than tacky for a better feel in the rooms. I've used them for a variety of purposes from wall displays, large picture shelves and even a dressing table in our space restricted master. They're in both dry walls and brick walls and I haven't had any problem putting them up. To note, these come with a planed back ready to sit flush on your wall. Yes it isn't stained but why would it be? Its at the back and won't mark your wall. The brackets are sturdy, dont screw them flush to the wall before placing the shelf on. Screw them almost in, place the shelf on and then tighten. It will then fit and be locked onto the wall. Make sure you order the depth you'll need as these come in a variety and we have a mix for individual projects. These are thick shelves so make sure you measure and account accordingly during install. The brackets being what they are will likely be dirty as they are hand forged. I just cleaned them before installation. If you want something that doesn't look like cheap rubbish and you don't mind spending that little extra for the look then the wife and I don't think yoo can't go wrong with these. (We're planning a high room boarder for display so a constant repeat customer i think is a good testament!)

An impulsive decision by myself to add shelves to our living room, so I thought why not look on Amazon, I didn't want any rubbish though, so no Dunelm or IKEA type that looked cheap. So found this company with a quick search and was very happy to support a small business instead of these tax dodging corporation types. Found what I wanted, picked the colour of stain to match other furniture and bought 3 in various sizes, really pleased all fittings came supplied, and particularly that yet again another small business was used in crafting the brackets, black iron really sets it off against the dark oak. To say I'm happy is an understatement, the quality, finish, attention to details on staining and edging is perfect 👌 It was very easy to install these and they look great, we've already started putting up Christmas decorations on them 😄🎄 If I ever need more then I'll definitely be returning to this company, excellent work.

We ordered one of these shelves initially and when it came we were so pleased with the quality and value for money we ordered a second. The shelves are very sturdy and also the brackets do would certainly recommend.

Delivery was very prompt and we were astounded by the beauty of the product when we opened the packaging. Lovely chunky bits of wood with quality brackets to fit.
