The books are in excellent shape. No hassles, just right

If this book is your first experience using a Kindle or the Kindle App, you may be turned off to digital books forever. The usability of this text in the Kindle ecosystem is really limited, and exceptionally subpar .First, this book can not be downloaded to a Kindle e-ink (black and white) device, making it unusable on models like the Paperwhite, Scribe, or Oasis. This leaves you having to read the book on your ipad or computer. On the ipad, you can't increase the text size, sure you can pinch and zoom, but that is not a good, modern experience. On a computer, using the Kindle app to read this text works OK, though the process of highlighting text is challenging, and I've found it very difficult to put notes with your highlights.My next problem with this book is the way it's written. I almost felt like the author went out of her way to overcomplicate the messaging. In the first chapter, I had to stop after every page and spend about 2 hours Googling concepts and trying to find YouTube videos to figure out what these concepts meant. My main challenge was understanding how theories, paradigms, and epistemologies related to each other. A diagram and written description of the relationship would have helped greatly. Don't worry though, if you can make it to the end of Chapter 2 everything will start making sense. The writing, however, never gets any better.It's sad that my review is so low, because a small amount of the book's content is actually pretty mind-blowing. The author really questions the theories we use to lead organizations in very insightful ways.Overall, I'm going to give this book 1 star because the reading experience was so poor. A note to the author… if you just make your book easier to consume in the Kindle ecosystem it would really enable a better (and more equitable) experience. Right now, the accessibility features built into the Kindle ecosystem simply can't be used. Also, you don't need 50-word sentences... ever.
