I am very pleased with this purchase. I spent a lot of time trying to find interesting shelving (that wasn't a regular bookshelf-type) to display a pottery collection. This fit the bill perfectly and is very sturdy, even on the carpet where I placed it. I would definitely purchase another if/when needed to expand display space.As far as assembly - there were a lot of parts but the instructions were clear enough. The package was missing one of the tools, although I did have a wrench handy that worked fine as a substitute. Also, instructions do warn about some transfer of the carbonized coloring during the assembling process but did provide gloves (oddly enough they were those inexpensive winter yarn gloves which didn't seem to make a lot of sense to me so I just used a pair of disposable rubber gloves instead).

I love this plant stand! It is so hard to find stands that have the wooden support slats running in this direction... I hope these become available again to purchase because I want to get about 4 more!! It’s the perfect size, not heavy while still being sturdy, and it is very aesthetically pleasing. (The package even included a pair of small work gloves to help in case there were any rough wooden edges - although there were not. Everything was great!) Highly recommend!

I like this little plant shelf. It's the perfect size if you're not looking for something humungous. Very light weight but sturdy. It fits small spaces well and that's exactly what I needed. I thought it was extremely easy to put together and the directions were step by step. It's also strong enough to hold two medium sized ferns that are are pretty hefty. The company also threw in a little pair of knit gloves to protect your hands when putting the pieces together. How thoughtful! I give it two thumbs up and definitely recommend this product.

After much research looking for a tiered plant stand for a gift, I finally decided on this one. I read the reviews about getting stain on your hands during assembly and some units having discolored wood or splintered. I’m happy to report this unit was perfect. It was easy to assemble, all sections were perfect condition and coloring was no issue. I started using the gloves provided to avoid stain on my hands, but placing the bolts was easier without them. I had very little stain residue on my hands and even afterward wiping it down with a damp cloth before using had some residue, but nothing overwhelming. I am very happy with the purchase. Good quality unit.

I bought two and connected them. All you have to do is build one of the narrow shelves using the 5-holed pieces on all ends and use that as the middle piece. You do end up with one narrow shelf on its own though. Pretty sturdy, only one hole was wonky but I was able to force the screw through. Does stain your hands but it washes off no problem. I did find one splinter in my shirt later on. I preferred this design over the others because it's symmetrical.

Purchased this for our apartment and out of the box I was a bit surprised at how light and thin this it was. Unfortunately it was missing the two middle shelves which I didn’t realize until I began assembling it. Luckily their customer service is amazing and quick to respond, so I should be receiving the missing parts soon and can update my review. Also apparently they add gloves to the package for assembling it, I thought that was pretty nice.I am concerned I will have to find a way to make it more sturdy since I will not have heavy plants on it, and It will be sitting on carpet.Update: they company sent me the missing parts and I received them within a few days of speaking with them. Their customer service is 5 star, unfortunately the pieces had a few scratches on them, but I Used some markers to cover them up no problem. For $50 item was too much of a hastle I will admit but customer service made a difference.

I wasn’t sure what to expect based on the reviews, but I am pleasantly surprised at how beautiful this is. It was pretty easy to set up, except it only came with an Allen wrench and not the other wrench pictured in the directions. Fortunately we had one and were able to set this up in under 30 minutes. It’s smaller than it seems and fit perfectly in my bay window. I love it!

I got this because there was a promotion if you purchased two shelves. So I did- the other is holding up just great. This one collapsed and as you can see in the picture it cost me some expensive pots (and a pot that was passed down to me by a family friend when she passed away. I’m really disappointed that I’m past the return window. I want a refund and replacement for a shelf that isn’t defective. The other one is fine and hasn’t budged. So there is clearly something wrong with this set
