20-Pin Male to 24-Pin Female ATX Power Supply Adapter Cable came fast and it worked like a charm. I was turning my 6 Year old LapTop (Acer Aspire 5552-3691 AMD Athlon II Dual Core 2.2Ghz) into a Desktop and needed a "Jumper" for the PSU. I bought a Cougar (MX200) Case and a Coolmax 500W (I-500) for $63.28 including shipping. I got a "new" (new to me) AMD Turion II P540 2.4Ghz Dual Core (For $10 with shipping) . I saw some videos on YouTube and put it all together. I can't believe it works really good. My laptop was slow and sluggish... Now, I have a "Brand New" Desktop. This adapter made it possible. The PSU is running all 4 of the Fans (90mm Exhaust and 3 120mm Case Fans), 1 HDD (Hard Disk Drive), 1 SSD (Solid State Drive) and the ODD (Optical disc drive - DVD Burner). All I had to do is take the "Green" wire and get an "On/Off" Car Switch (SPST) and hook it to one of the "Black" wires. I wish I thought of this years ago. The Adapter is well make. Not junk. Most "connectors" I have gotten, the pins are very loose... Not this one. It's very tight. I will definitely order more of these.

Look at the photo. Written description is wrong.
1st and 3rd sentences are OK; they simply say 20-Pin to 24-pin. 2nd and 4th are WRONG. They say 20-Pin power supply, 24-pin mobo. That's what I need. Look at the photo: 24-pin female (connect to power supply), 20-pin male (connect to mobo) - exactly the OPPOSITE of what the 2nd and 4th sentences say you're buying.

This cable works perfectly. I used it to get a new mini-ITX motherboard to work with a new case I purchased that only had a 24-pin connector. Without it, I would not be able to use the case. Doesn't look or feel cheap. And the price is very inexpensive.

It's very thin wire. I wouldnt use it on a hi powered PC. I really just bought it for the connector, to run a car stereo from a PC power supply. I did use one in a friends PC to upgrade his power supply. He started with a compact one.
