YAKIMA - TubeTop Hitch Mounted Bike Rack

We love our Yakima spare wheel mounted bike rack, but our two bikes didn't sit on it too well due to the angle of the crossbar on my partner's bike. This is a really quick and easy solution to that problem. As with the bike rack itself, this accessory is very robust and well-made and we now have no concerns at all about how the bike sit on the rack.

I use this for my E-MTB does the job really well and the rubberised clamp areas are good for not scratching my bike and it holds the bike really well. I think it would be nice if it was able to be locked at the correct length once in place, this does not affect the security of the bike. Shame it’s max weight is 45lbs, my E-MTB is about 49lbs but I get round this by removing the battery.

Rubber has started to come away from metal ends after a few uses. A bit tricky to open the ends, had to tighten the screws as the ends were opening whilst travelling. Hasn’t performed well considering the high price.

If you have a full suspension mountain bike or a smaller bike then this is a useful addition to the Yakima spare ride product. Was having issues with the small A frame of my bike fitting and the back when sticking up in the air a massive amount so tried this and it works great. It’s an made out of powder coated steel with plastic coated ends and it’s adjustable to different sized bikes. All in a good purchase, however it would have been good if it was in the box as the Spare Ride itself is quite expensive

El producto se siente bastante robusto en calidad (muy bueno). Me sirvio para no batallar en montar una bicicleta al rack. Lo super recomiendo
