The bases are a bit too lightweight for the tension when fully extended. Great appearance and they keep their shine nicely. I appreciate the locking feature on the clips to minimize “accidents.” Make sure to assemble with socket wrench to get base very tight or you will have wobbly posts.

My order arrived without the bases. The bases came a day later. Quality is okay. A few of the poles had some small dings in them. They are metal, but thin. Plastic parts are okay too. I would not use these for any heavy duty purpose or move them around a lot.

These stanchions are so light that when you do use the retractable belt it makes them lean over. These are not heavy duty so don’t buy them if that’s what you’re looking for.
