Allison 54-0109 Black Toll Pass Holder

I switch my EZpass between several vehicles and this was a MUST have for me. The product came packaged in a plastic bag and the suction cups were a little bent when it arrived. I was worried that they wouldn't hold because of the creases but when I put it on my windshield it attached with no problem and has NEVER fallen off! It was a tight fit when I put my EZpass in it which is perfect because I don't want to hear it rattle around when driving. Can not say anything negative about the product. Wish the packaging of the suction cups were a little better but it didn't effect performance. I have no problem recommending this product to anyone.

Works just as it should. Easy to insert the transponder and add the suction cups. Even comes with a few felt stickers in case there is "rattling" from the product. For me there isn't, but it's another nice touch.Note: Some people are claiming that it is a bit difficult to slide the transponder back out, especially if it is already attached to your car. This is true, so if you are looking for something you can just slide the transponder out of and back into another vehicle, this one might not suit you. If you are going to just keep this one in your car at all times, then it's perfect so you know it won't fall out. I am using it just for me, so I rated it well. Keep this in mind when making your purchase!

Great price and works perfectly. Fits the current EZ Pass transponder, and NOT the older large ones. Good quality. Good suction cups. Easy to remove. If you don't have one of these, get rid of those adhesive tabs and buy this.

This was purchased for my HD motorcycle to mount on the lower windshield for a 4k mile trip I just finished. It worked perfectly, stayed in place and I never worried about it falling off.The only reason for 4 stars, not 5, are the suction cups. They were very flat and one of the 3 just will not do anything as far as holding. The other two did fine for the whole trip. Temps were low 50's all the way up to 105F for two days. I didn't have to touch it. Yes we had high winds and rain too and still no problem. I am ordering another for my car.

This was a perfect solution to our new EZPass. It fits behind the rearview mirrors of both a 2014 Kia Sorento and 2010 Mazda 3 with no problems so I'm assuming it will fit behind any rearview mirror. :-) We had previously used the velcro strips on our other car that this was originally in and didn't take them off when transferring it to the new holder. Its made of a solid black plastic and it hasn't moved or fallen off in the time that we have had it. Overall, a great buy for the money. We are very happy.

This review is based off of the holder I originally had - the Mini eZpassClip, which hasn't fared very well. From the get-go the suction cups wouldn't work very well. They were only about 1/2" in diameter and lacked concavity to stick well to the glass. If the holder fell off in cold weather it took a lot to get it back up and stay. The other flaw of this holder is that the open skeletal design also started to melt and warp in the sun until it became virtually useless. This is also in Maryland, not in the South West where it would be brutally hot.So far with this new piece:1) The suction cups are quite large and have very good gripping power. The third cup adds to the holding effectiveness and stability.2) The more one piece design of this hopefully holds up to the heat better and resists warping and melting in the sun.

This holder fits the new Illinois IPASS transponder well - almost too well. Once you slide the transponder in it's hard to get it out. And if you're taking your car in for service and don't want to leave the transponder in the car, you'll probably have to the take both the transponder and holder off, suction cups and all.If you need to share one transponder among two family cars (like me) with two of these holders you'll need to modify the holders. Let me explain:On the side of the holder where the transponder slips in, theres a small raised lip on the bottom floor that prevents the transponder from sliding out. The fix:I took a metal file and filed the raised lip down so the transponder could slide in and out easily. Then I duct taped a popsicle stick to the bottom of the transponder so I would have something to grab on to when taking the transponder out to share between two cars. Then, instead of mounting the holders to the windshield level, I slightly tilted one end down to prevent the transponder from falling out when making sharp turns.Sound complicated? Yes it was, but I got it to work. I miss the old square transponders that used the top loading plastic holders. With those old holders you could share the old transponders between two cars with no problem.

I've been an EZ-Pass user for years and this might be the best holder I've ever used. And I have been through quite a few of them. It didn't crack when I put the module in it. The suction cups are shaped correctly. The eyeholes for the suction cup are sized correctly so that they don't move around. The holder itself fits nicely so the module doesn't rattle over bumps. It has sat in both freezing cold and direct sunlight hot and not dropped from the windshield at the most inopportune moment. It hasn't deformed into an unrecognizable lump of plastic after sitting in direct sunlight. Every other tag holder I've used has had at minimum 1 of those things occur, usually most of them. This one has been bullet proof. And thanks to the low profile design from EZ pass, this one hides just out of sight behind my mirror, so no clutter. Great simple product all around.
