Description 3D Printlife’s Enviro™ is the world’s first environmentally friendly ABS filament. It was created to bridge the gap between the printing performance of ABS, and the environmental friendliness of PLA. Enviro™ has been specially formulated for the purpose of microbial consumption, common with the bacteria found in landfill to energy facilities. It is a 750g spool of 1.75mm diameter filament that is wound onto a heavy recycled cardboard spool that is biodegradable, and bound with a recyclable tin end cap. The Enviro™ spool was designed to be a universal fit with most 3d printers in use today. By using recycled cardboard we were not limited by third party suppliers and gained full control of the overall dimensions. Our spool is 200mm in diameter, 55mm in width, with a 57mm bore. Consumers can be confident that 3D Printlife’s spool will be compatible with their printer, while still being the most environmentally friendly choice on the market. In addition, a portion of the proceeds from every spool of Enviro™ will be donated to plant a tree. One spool equals one tree, rejuvenating iconic forests in key locations throughout the United States. Enviro™ is made in the USA with the highest quality materials and extrusion processes available. Every spool of Enviro™ ABS is measured to ensure that it is within the strictest standards for quality, diameter, and ovality, and it maintains a dimensional accuracy of +/- 0.03mm. Enviro™ uses high quality 100% virgin resins and colorants in filament manufacturing. Each spool of Enviro™ is carefully wound to exacting standards to minimizing crossovers and loopbacks that can lead to snags and snaps.
