A real quality piece of kit, really pleased with it. Having used this for a number of brazing and silver soldering jobs, I. Could not be happier with its performance. The three nozzles give a range of flames with differing heat capacities which make a great addition. That said, the flames are not as well defined as shown in the pictures and it would not be suitable for particularly fine work such as jewellery.I found the torch very cumbersome to handle when screwed directly to the gas cylinder but, adding a connecting hose removed this problem altogether.On/off and flow regulation on the torch are very useful. Instant lighting is very reliable as well as locking the flame on so that you do not have to hold a button in all the time are cracking additions. Would definitely recommend.

One of those thing that I never realised I needed all these years.. I bought it to heat up a broken stud on an engine to get it out....have since taken it camping and it is fantastic for lighting BBQ's, great for cooking in he kitchen doing crème brulee type stuff. Great for lighting fires, no fire lighters needed.... great buy and good quality. How have I managed so long without one... great bit of kit.

This is the second torch i have had. As a plumber they get a lot of use, the leading brand torches cost 3x the price but in my opinion do not last 3 x as long. I got 8 months use out of the first one before the auto ignition failed (could still use it with a lighter). I consider this good value, its used for long periods 5days a week. Stable, controllable flame, no flaring. The finer nozzle could be a bit smaller for working under kitchen cupboards etc. Overall well wort the money.

Good piece of kit this. When using at different angles it doesn't flare all the time. The one I had previously would drive me mad.

Used only very occasionally probably ten or twelve times at the most for short periods only. Still looks brand new but failed to spark today when I needed it. Tried all ways but gave up at the finish and went and bought a different brand from the local plumbers store.

Bought to install a new hot water cylinder and central heating pump pipework. The torch using the appropriate MAPP gas cylinder worked perfectly, heating the end feed fittings in seconds allowing the solder to flow into the joint. The torch worked at any angle and the flame control and piezo-ignition were faultless.

i was a little wary about buying this item , as your never sure how safe or good they are compared to the main bigger brands. but i was surprised , it feels solid and sturdy . the gas adjuster is brass that too feels solid . the inner spiral the head has realy helps the flame get to where you need it. with maap gas it heats up brass/steel iron in minutes to a cherry red . i used it for silver soldering brass which is 3-4mm thick and it does it no problems. one thing to remember remove the gas canister after use. this helps stop any leaks around the torches inner rubber seal.all in all a realy good torch , it comes with three nozzels which is good.very pleased i bought this and not one twice the price.
