Why did you pick this product vs others?:Great size and sound

Maybe my classroom management sucks, but I could not get my middle school classrooms to quiet down without my trusty whistle. It works so well that I can usually get the class to quiet down just by putting the whistle between my lips and counting down from 5 using the fingers of my outstretched hand. I ended up always having at least one student see me and yell out "Quiet!", and the other students who weren't looking would know what was coming if they didn't quiet down. It was also useful during field trips. Even the tall male teachers with very loud voices couldn't accomplish what I could with a loud blow of the whistle. Recommend for other first-time teachers, teachers who don't like raising their voice or don't want to lose their voice by the end of the day every day, and teachers who just don't have a very loud voice to begin with.

Just what I needed for my coaching gig

After 20 years of using a very nice whistle, it finally broke. I was so sad so I went searching for something to last the next 20 years. After searching and searching, I came across this one and purchased it for use. It came very quickly, and was packed in small packaging.However, the sound is not as loud as it needs to be. It is still somewhat loud, but does not carry the long distance across the playground. The metal is of “okay” quality, and will probably last for a while.
