I had some vein surgery and needed a compression solution inclusive of calves and thighs. I tried a thigh-high option, and it was terrible - so tight at the thigh band I couldn't wear them even an hour. Although I had long ago sworn off ever wearing pant hose again, in some desperation I thought to try compression stockings- at least I wouldn't have the constriction at the thigh from the bands.With this product I fell between two sizes so I got the larger size. It was a little long for my height but not so much I couldn't work with it. It was a great solution - I am able to wear them without wanting to scream after an hour. They aren't sheer, but I'll take comfort over pain any day.

I am in between a few of the measurements. I ordered a 2X but will order a 3x next time. The 2X is a bit short in the rise. I am 5’6” and hoping the 3X will give a little more length. I have purchased compression stockings in the past and getting these on is off the chart in difficulty. Not sure how someone fresh from a surgical procedure could remotely put them on… even with help it would prove difficult.

I work in a retail cosmetics department and we stand all day and I wear support socks every day or if I don’t I could go home crying in pain from my legs aching. But wearing support socks limits me to wearing trousers, who wants to see some chubby legged middle aged women’s knees peeking out from under a skirt.?So I wanted to change it up and I have some lovely dresses I wanted to wear and that’s why I’m here.I ordered some of these support tights so I could wear dresses. Now overall they look good, my legs actually looked slimmer which was a plus I didn’t expect …but! Yes but… don’t expect to put these on if your in a rush give yourself a good 10 minutes, why you ask? I had to fight with these things like wrestling champ, I ended up on the bed one leg at a time then only to realize halfway through I had them on backwards (that was my fault not paying attention to the label) so that meant I had too peel them off only to start all over again and taking a breather between each attempt of dressing a leg. Then once I had them on I had to move them around, you know pinch and pull up so it would fit right in all the nooks and crannies and you reaaally have to pinch and grab because they are sucking you in but they never once ripped so they are definitely strong. I did think to my self did I get the right size? I did, it’s just the nature of these tights or you wouldn’t get the support you need.I did have to shimmy them up through out the day because they’d gather at the back of my knees and it would pinch, also I had to wear them inside out, there’s an annoying seam across the toes and can hurt but that means that the gusset which is made to be worn like underwear is inside out too but I’d rather be inside out or my toes would hurt.Overall My legs felt great all day no pain after a long shift and slimmer looking legs it’s well worth wrestling them on your bed like an alligator hunter.

Needed it to be a little wider in the upper leg area.I do not look like the model in the picture,but bought item thinking it would stretch a little more in the upper leg/thigh area.Since it a an opaque support stocking it was not sheer.But I didn't expect it to be.It fit like all support stockings fit...very snugly from hips almost to toes.The feet were wider than mine.It will accommodate women with wide or swelling feet very well. I was astounded how thick the stockings were for pantyhose.You would have a hear time putting a run in them,they were excellent quality in that respect.And I felt...for that reason...their higher price was warranted.

These were a 6X and they were nearly impossible to don. Too tight although the material is nice and strong. They hurt and I had to take them off an hour and a half later. Couldn’t breathe in them. Dang.

Nice quality but not the right size

I'm tall and fat. I read the size chart carefully, and these tights should have fit me well. I think, however, I'd need to be about 6'4" for these to fit the way they should. The legs are so long there's nowhere for the fabric to go once you pull on the tights, so it bunches at your ankles and even worse at your knees and crotch ... which is insanely uncomfortable.Did they provide compression? Yes, absolutely. Am I looking forward to wearing them on my return trip? Not even a little. Will I continue hunting for better compression tights made for people of more average-tall height? Yes. I wish me luck.

I LOVE THESE PANTYHOSE (closed toe) ! I weigh 120-5’2 and ordered a medium to test. Wow! I have 3-4 other brands, cut the feet off and they still made me wiggle placement through out the day. Usually the closed toe hurt because they are too tight binding toes with or with out socks. These were made where they left room !!!! Finally! The panty part is high waist so I roll them down but they stay in place, don’t stretch out like most of the medical brands. These are the firm support and usually if you don’t put them on just right, other brands will shift where I wore these under jeans today with two pairs of socks and boots. They are still comfortable. I definitely am going to buy more. I cannot stress to men and women the importance if you were on your feet to wear Support hose of some sort. The blood will pool in your legs unless you do very specific exercises at night to reverse the process and it’s healthier hands down for your circulatory system. The heart pumps the blood down but the blood does not have an easy way to get back up. Eventually what will happen to your body is it can cause circulation problems and leg cramps which I’ve had for years. Part of it is due to tight muscles as I used to be a professional bodybuilder and know how that goes. Now that I’m a little bit older I found out that circulation also causes a huge role in light cramps and I haven’t had hardly any since I’ve been wearing support hose consistently.Very happy to a found a company that made a pair that fits my body well. My foot is between a 6 1/2 and a seven so for someone with larger feet I can’t speak for the stretch in the foot portion of these hose.
