Battistoni Cup & Char Spicy Pepperoni, Single 5oz Pouch

My husband and I have been looking for pepperoni that curls up gets the crunchy edge and holds the grease. We have tried every brand possible from various stores w no luck! I saw these online in a post and said why not. OMG these have a great spice to them and adds the final touch to our homemade pizzas! We call them grease buckets but they are not super greasy. They are worth the money to us. They never stick around long so not sure how the shelf life is. They smell flavorful and are. Try them!

I picked up the Battistoni Cup & Char Spicy Pepperoni mainly for nostalgia — my school used to give us the exact same style every Friday, and it was honestly the highlight of the week. This pack brought that feeling right back. The flavor is incredible: smoky, slightly spicy without overpowering the cheese, and it crisps up beautifully on pizza. I used it on homemade sourdough and a Neapolitan-style pizza, and the cup-and-char effect was perfect. Each slice curled, crisped, and released that flavorful oil that makes a pizza go from good to amazing. Texture is spot-on too — not rubbery like cheaper pepperoni, and not too thick. It tastes like something from an actual pizzeria. Only downsides: The bag is pretty small A little pricey for the amount you get But honestly, the quality makes it worth it if you care about flavor or if you make pizza at home. This is easily some of the best pepperoni I’ve ever used

Good but not worth the price

O M G .....Never have I ever reached for my ph to write a review so fast!!!! If you love cup pepperoni then you already understand that regular pepperoni just doesn't cut it when you crave pizza. I searched high & low at certain stores (that cater to restaurants) to find cup pepperoni & the only places that did carry it only sold to people w/ food business licenses.....the other stores couldn't even order it as a special item. So imagine how excited I was to locate THIS on Amazon! I had never heard of this brand before but the 4.8 rating made it easy to place an order. It exceeded my expectations!!!! I've made homemade pizza before but it never truly hit the spot b/c I didn't have cup pepperoni. Less than 10 mins after opening my order, my first pizza was in the oven. I kept watching to make sure the pepperoni was curling - LOL. 8 mins later my pizza was ready & I was SOLD on my very first bite!!! THANK YOU Battistoni for making this available for us to use at home.....I will definitely be recommending it to all pizza lovers!

Great product, just like the pepperoni you get at pizza restraints. Perfect size, not too large like so many commercially made pepperoni’s in the market. Sides cup up and hold some of the oil. Great flavor.
