Rembrandt Soft Pastel Micro Set, 10-Piece Half Sticks, Dark Shades Selection

First, the picture is not the best representation of the colors. I think its just the sellers camera or photo settings because ive made several purchases and all the colors seemed darker or not as vibrant as the pics. Dont get me wrong, the colors are rich and the quality is great if you want slightly harder soft pastels. I love them and thats why i have gotten several sets this far. If your shopping soft pastels, i recommend these moderate price sets. I purchased a cheap set with a large amount of colors and they were so bad that i gave them away since id already tried them extensively in hopes of finding quality in thier quantity.

My wife is an artist, and loves these. The colors are deep, rich, and the pastels are very easy to work with.

Colors are great, but you cant really store them in this squishy foam in paper box which rips as you try to slide the foam back in.

Excellent product and price. Add dark half sticks to any Rembrandt half stick set!

I use these for pastel underpainting especially on sanded surfaces.

1. Ok selection of darks for the price2. These are hard pastels. Similar in consistency to Nu pastels3. Price is in line with the quality

This product has me baffled...And it might be the case of some ...are just that- too dark and perhaps not enough difference in value...hard to tell the colors ...although, I was looking for something that was dark to use other than just black. I'll work with this for the time being.

Beautifully created color for those deep and dark areas. Someone said they all look dark grey, not true!! Great addition to my chalk Patel pallet!!
