Works great
I bought this to put on my Marlin 1894C in 357 magnum. The dovetail is small and has a set screw to hold it in position. This seemed a little weird but I think their reasoning was to "easily" make windage adjustments though this would require having a tiny screwdriver on you to do so. I have fiber optic sights on multiple pistols but this was my first long gun trying it. My accuracy is equivalent to the stock irons but sight acquisition is much quicker as they are far easier to see (I also put the Hiviz fiber optic front sight on)

easy to "pick up"
Would give it 5 stars but I have not used in the field. Very bright and will eventually get the front as well...easy to "pick up". Oh I put it on my Rossi 454 lever, very easy to install get it!

awesome replacement
I have a old ithaca 37 turkey slayer and the rear sight fell out somehow. They are no longer manufactured by the same company so getting a replacement was out. I found this and while it’s not 100% perfect in it’s fit, it does fit and function well enough i have no worries!

Not accurate- very easy to install- If you want accuracy, only install the front sight
While the front and rear hiviz sights are very easy to install, they are not accurate at all, when combined, on the Henry rifles. (Specifically, I had these on a Henry .22LR model H001L.) You'll notice the target pictured shows black dots covering the upper right, above the orange. These are where the shot pattern was being produced at about 10 yards with both the rear and front hiviz sights on the rifle. No matter how much adjusting was done, the sights are just too high. However, after reinstalling the factory Henry rear sight, and leaving the front sight as the hiviz sight, you'll notice the next grouping was right on target. The factory rear sight combined with the hiviz front sight makes for easier acquisition and accurate shooting. My recommendation... get the hiviz front sight, and leave your factory Henry rear sight on the gun.

Rossi M92 454 Casull 20" and M92 357 mag 16" Application
They are a great improvements. I used them on my Rossi M92 454 Casull 20" barrel. I used a .450" fiber front sight and I have to raise/adjust the HiViz rear sight a bit. This configuration allow me to adjust for different powered rounds with different higher points of impact. When I used a .410 front sight, the rear sight needs no elevation. But if the round struck high, I had no way to adjust down.I also put one on my Rossi M92 357 magnum 16 inch barrel. In combination with the stock sight which is 0.5 inch, the HiViz is at the bottom of the adjustment or no elevation. I will be getting a higher front sight to put the adjustment range in the middle of the rear HiViz sights adjustment. A 0.530 inch front sight should do the trick.

I like the idea
First, remember, this is a "universal site". The issues I have are that it is fairly loose in the dovetail - I can put it in and take it out with my hand. Now, HiViz anticipated this so there is a set-screw (1/16" hex) that is used to tighten the site in the dovetail. I'll know how well this works once I can get this large-bore monster to the range. I also bought several of their front sites - they, well, lets just say I've now had to purchase an expensive thread locking compound (recommended to by by posters in a forum with this same problem) as well as some thin brass sheeting (ditto). Depending on how well the site stays in the dovetail, I may be affixing it with the green adhesive or making some brass shims. I really can't have it come off when in action. Now, what I do like about it, and you could even say positively excited about, is the windage/elevation adjustments - the same 1/16" hex also works those. Sure is better than having to drive a site around to get the windage set.

Good for a Henry
I bought this sight to go on a Henry lever action .22 mag (H001M). I paired this with the Hi-Viz barrel band sight. I installed this sight in less than five minutes. The stock rear sight easily came out with a plastic dowel and rubber mallet and this sight went in just as easily with no filing. It's a big improvement over the stock sights but I still have issues past 25 yards with any iron sights due to my eyes. Sights are easily adjusted and do what they say.
