Snapper 1842 quit pulling

I have a Snapper SR1028. At the start of this summer, my mower would not drive fwd ...would only go in reverse. A friend removed the old disc drive/liner and found replacement using old drive part number (shown on the part). I ordered it on Amazon and he installed when it arrived. It did fix my problem.

Mine was an older rear engine model and it worked great. I just made sure the diameters were the same.
