Amazing product, pretty large though
This is a fast, robust, Zombie Apocalypse surviving USB key. It looks cool, is made from extruded and machined aluminum - with aluminum end caps (wish these were rubberized) and O-ring seals. The labeling on the outside, well, those are cheap decals that fell off in a few days of use. The name/logo should really be laser engraved. Without the decals, this could pass for a waterproof case for a couple of cigarettes or a cigar butt. One of the end caps is designed to hold a key ring, wrist strap, etc. Only the end cap with the key-ring/lanyard hole can be removed. The ring that tightens the end cap is covered in knurled rubber, as is the matching faux ring at the opposite end. This helps prevent (but not stops) the cylinder from rolling around. Because it's rubber, it's also easy to grip.Gotta say, this is one tough USB key case! The key itself is pretty robust as well. It is plastic, but fits snugly inside the case, so it won't wobble around. I don't know why you'll we need a key this destruction and depth-proof, but I purchased it for the cool factor. If you're working a lot outdoors, have to ship USB keys, or want to store some valuable data on a drop and waterproof key, here it is. Live on a boat? Get a few!

Amazing Product, Corsair Quality
I purchased this flash drive a s a replacement for numerous lost and damaged flash drives over the past few years. There were three thngs that made me want to buy this:1. Its durability to prevent water and impact damage2. Its larger size to make misplacing it more difficult3. Its Corsair brand, witch has not failed me to this day with dozens of quality products. It has lived up to all three reasons for purchase and gone above expectations. When you are on the go and need to just throw it in a backpack, you won't have to worry about it getting damaged from being thrown around, or by that leaky water bottle in your bag, and its big enough so you can easily feel around for it whenever you need it. I have thrown this thing across rooms and dropped it in glasses of water, each time without fail. I highly recommend to anyone who needs durable, fast, or spacious portable storage. Well worth the money spent.

Great drive with one fixable flaw
I just got this today and the speeds seem alright. I am using USB 2.0 and I have not ran Black Magic speed test on it or anything but it seems to be average or thereabouts with the 20 million other USB 2.0 drives I have lying around. What sets this apart for me is the durability and the capacity. I Purchased (for me) a monstrous amount of space that will allow me to create bootable volumes for diagnostic purposes as well as having PLENTY of room left over for other random files. As others have mentioned, it's pretty big in terms of physical size. It also stick out a bit longer than most USB drives, but this isn't most USB drives. Had I wanted smaller drive I would have looked elsewhere. But the durability for me is more important than small form factor. The only reason I am giving this 4 stars is because there was absolutely zero lubricant on the threading of the drive as you screw it into its "tough tube" for lack of a better term. I can understand to a certain degree why a liquid would not be applied to a flash drive. However, When you are screwing it together a sound feeling like fingernails on a chalk board is made. The threading is VERY fine and a distinct metal on metal noise is made when screwing it in. What I have done to remedy this: I applied a very small amount of silicone grease to the threading, and opened and screwed the drive in and out several times. Picked up the grease super cheap a few years ago for a flashlight with the same issue. Safe for electronics and you need minimal amounts. I used a toothpick to apply it. If you happen to run your fingers on the threading you really don't get grease on you. The difference however is night and day. No more metal on metal noise/feel. This also helps preserve your O-Ring that makes this thing waterproof. Again I realize this may just be a personal preference - But I figured this might be worth mentioning for prospective buyers or current owners who feel the same as I do.
