CrystalClear ClarityMax - Pond, Stream & Waterfall Treatment - 2.5 lbs treats up to 20,000 gallons

I purchased this product on the recommendation of the professionals who installed my pond. Be advised, to clear a severe problem of algae and sludge, the product does not work unilaterally. it must be used in concert with an accelerated maintenance program until the problem has been brought under control. For me that meant cleaning out my biological filter every 3-4 days and changing out the leaf basket regularly in addition to using this product. After about one month, the water in my pond was crystal clear. I actually started seeing results after the first week. With a weekly application of Clarity Max, I have been able to maintain my pond in this clear condition. The product has worked well for me. I've since ordered a 6 pound size which at my current consumption rate, should last well over a year.

I find it interesting to read anything but a 5 star review of this product. For me, I tried many, many products to clear my pond of what I would call severe string algae. Even a couple of pond professionals who came to my pond told me I would have to just live with it. My pond has constant exposure to direct sun and very high pH - two things apparently algae love. I had all but given up when a guy at a pond store swore this product would work. My algae problem was so bad that I was desperate enough to try it. I am so glad I did!!! It made a huge difference almost immediately!!!!! The effectiveness of this product is DEFINITIVE! My water went from something like 4 inches of visibility to being able to read a newspaper on the bottom of the pond. I've been using it for about a year. In the summer, I dose about every four days and in the Winter, which isn't so bad here in SoCal, I use it every couple of weeks. This is an incredible product. It really does what it says. My pond is so clean, I can't believe what I lived with for years before this product. I enjoy my pond so much more now. Try it, you'll love it.

Good for maintenance but doesn't do much if you're having clarity problems already. A sludge destroyer is better to start with then add this for maintenance.

I have used and continue to use other products to help clear my 1500 gal Koi pond. Make no mistake, hands down this product works the best. When the pond gets cloudy I throw in 3 scoops and the next day I can see the bottom. 5/22/22-My pond got really dark and cloudy. Nothing I was doing was working to clear it up. I have 19 fish, Koi and Goldfish. What I did, I drained out about 2/3 of my 1500gal pond using a small pump and my 4gal Shop Vac. Took most of the day. Then I started refilling with my garden hose and even before the water got to the waterfall pump inlet level I dosed the pond with 4 scoops of ClarityMax. Got cloudy as hell even when the pond was full. Then I turned on the waterfall pump. The next morning I could count the pea gravel stones that were accidentally on the liner on the bottom. And NO fish died. This stuff works!!!!

Ordered many times over several years. Product works well however, my last two orders have come defective. The powder/granules have been solid and hard as bricks. It may have gottenn wet or was in a really high humidity environment. If it were easy to break apart or chip away I would have used it but it was very difficult to break apart. I wrote to the supplier but haven't heard back.

Crystal Clear ClarityMax Granulars creates crystal clear water in my backyard pond and waterfall. I have used a myriad of products over the years and this product lives up to its promise of reducing debris & sludge, removing algae while creating crystal clear water!

This water clarifier does exactly what it says. It does a great job, stopping algae growth and adds beneficial bacteria to the pond. The only problem I have is that you have to pre-mix the powder in a bucket or else it sinks to the bottom and crystallizes. I use this about every other week unless there is an algae bloom. This water clarifier doesn’t harm fish or Ducks. I would recommend this product.

The plastic bottle it was in was open and the product has spilled out in the plastic bag it was in. Thank goodness it was in a bag.
