Malco TNP2R Trim Nail Punch with Clip

The first time I ordered this, I got a gutter screw extension (GSG6). I had to return it and re-order, but it came correct the second time.

It does work well for getting the nail flush between the channel grooves. Just as one of the other reviews stated the nail holder only last for so long. It still works, but without the benefit of the holding clip.

I bought this as a backup, because I can never find my other when I need it. Also bought 2 pocket size.

Malco sent me a new unit, but it literally broke the first day I used it. I see from other comments that this is pretty common. I owned one of these for 20 years and never had that problem. Not sure what they've changed, but they need to change it back.

Fo hard to get places where you need to nail a small nail - this it what you want. I needed to nail the soffit and those aluminum nails are a pain not to mention the groove you have to nail it into. This tool is great - it holds the nail and set it - perfect .

I bought this about halfway through a vinyl siding job on my garage. I wish I had bought it from the start, because it make the meticulous job of starting nails in hard-to-reach spots a breeze! This is one of those tools that you will probably see among most professionals' arsenals.
