I usually don’t write reviews but I want to save everyone else a little bit of trouble. The product video with the guy describing door configurations is inaccurate. It is much better to look at the diagram and determine which door you have. This is the exact lock I needed for my 25 year old security door. The latchbolt is reversible depending on if the door opens in or out but it is better to buy the correct configuration if you’re not comfortable opening the lock casing or you don’t want to get your hands greasy. It is a high quality lock and perfect fit. It’s a 5 star product but I give it a 4 because of the inaccurate video.

This lockset perfectly matched the old one we removed from our door when we had it powder coated. It works perfectly and is very secure. Installed it quickly. Would highly recommend!

It was a replacement for a broken security knob. There are several ways to install it incorrectly, and I found them all. Eventually it worked as it should.
