Not sure of accuracy as I have not compared it to another thermometer. Saying that, it seems to work well and in my experience as a cook I am confident in using it. It is fast to respond and is easy to clean. It is well made and without sharp edges. I would definitely recommend it.

Nice easy to use with fairly rapid response time and it's within a degree or two of my other kitchen thermometer and a thermocouple device for my multi-meter. It can also be user calibrated but not worth the effort for what I use it for. A good buy. In addition, the ability to angle the probe means you can keep your hands away from the heat/steam from pans etc
