Great compromise to a regular cleat
Got these for my High School Freshman who plays field hockey and lacrosse. Coaches encourage the girls to wear cleats but most don't and girls were getting injured playing on wet grass/turf with sneakers on. My daughter also developed shin splints and knee pain this season. She agreed to try these and she loves them. She says her confidence for starting and stopping is improved and so far her knee pain seems to be getting better. Noticed other girls are wearing their cleats and turf shoes again this week too!

Excellent field hockey fleets.
My daughter needed cleets for field hockey and I could not find any well made ones which she needs due to pronation. I sprung for these expensive ones, but that were great because she runs a ton, and these have more arch support then cleets. She said they gripped well and were comfortable to run in. Think they will fit her again next year as we got them a half size big, so that makes me feel better about the price. Worth it for us.

Quality Equipment Matters...this is it.
Any leather athletic shoe needs some breakiing in. Unfortunately, I didn't have the time so it was a bit tight in the beginning. Other than that, the fit is perfect (like a mattress wrapped around your foot) and the arch support is excellent (like all asics are). I just wish they were all black as I am required to wear for umpiring.

ASICS Field Shoe
I have several pair of ASICS shoes for different activities, so I know I wear a 7. The length is fine but are a little tight on the width. When given the option, I would order a wider shoe, but it was hard enough finding a field hockey or soccer type shoe in a 7 (I actually ordered them to wear for dog agility in less than perfect field conditions).

GREAT field hockey shoe!
I've struggled with finding the right cleats for my daughter for field hockey and I must say these have been the best ones so far! She loves how they grip the ground and supportive they are. The nice colors are cute too!

Great Field Hockey Footwear
My daughter wears these for field hockey. They are excellent all-leather uppers with gel features. They required very little break-in period. It is hard to find well made sports shoes for women. These are the answer for field hockery.

Well made but a bit bulky
Purchased this for my daughter as she plays LAX. Good quality shoe but she felt it was a bit heavy and bulky. She preferred the GEL V Cut.
