Discovering Computers 2014 (Shelly Cashman Series) 1st Edition

Exactly what I needed for my college computer class. Arrived on time and as described. Highly recommended.

I bought this for an online computer class I was taking. The book is simple and concise. Easy to follow unlike most computer book. Its less technically and is probably best for someone with a limited understanding about the subject. But I was pleased at how quickly I learned from this book.

Great book for someone wanting to know all the insides and out of the computer as a item. Not so great on how to use the software. But it was my fault for not reading the details close enough when I bought it. I'll find someone who wants it though.

I gave it four stars because it basically does what it says it does, which is introduces you to computers. Extremely basic and boring, but it is a textbook. Whatever class uses this book will also be very basic, so I guess it makes sense.

I've enrolled into school and although computers weren't my subject of study, this book truly came in handy...

I purchased the book used. The book itself is OK but there were some pencil marks in it and a page was loose. Probably not worth what I paid for it, but not worth sending back and getting another one. People have a tendency to grade there books a little better than what they are so they can sell them. The material in the book is pretty good and helpful.

This book is exactly what I needed, it came with great condition, some signs of use. The reason why it is 4 stars instead of 5. The book doesn't contain the Practice Tests that I needed for my class.

Got here earlier than expected. However, being a brand new one it didn’t come with an access code. It should have one.

This book came new and worked well for my Computer Information Systems class in college
