A nicely made, very solid basic table table
Bought this to pair with my new Wen 4214 12 inch drill press. The table is quite stout, and nicely finished. You have to drill your own holes to mount the t-tracks. Seems pretty easy to do since you already have a drill press, but not so. The table is sufficiently clunky that it is difficult to handle, and not easy to clamp to the small factory drill press table. The middle screw hole on the top two T-tracks will need to be drilled with a hand drill, since you cannot reach the spots with a 12 inch drill press. Obviously you could drill all of them with a hand drill, but the whole point of buying a drill press is accuracy, right? Would have been much easier if I already had a drill press table. If we had some ham we could have ham and eggs if we had some eggs.... Having drilled the holes (3/32 seems about right for a #6 screw), mounting the T-tracks goes easily enough. I had purchased some 5/8 and 3/4 decent wood screws from local hardware store for that purpose, but chose the 5/8. 3/4 cutting it too close. Holes/countersinks in aluminum tracks would also accommodate #8 screws, but #6 seem to make a really solid mount. I had considered adding epoxy but screws sufficiently solid that I deemed it unnecessary. And messy. In order to make the table crank handle (to raise and lower table) clear the table, I had to mount the table a bit away from the column assembly. I also shaved down the lower back edge of the table just a hair to improve clearance. That aspect of this is a Wen design flaw, since it would be an issue no matter how thick the aftermarket table was. Mounting to the factory table is a snap. Fence is nicely made, as are the two included aluminum hold down clamps. No stop block included, and no measuring tapes on the T-tracks, but those are available from other vendors, of course. All in all I'm quite satisfied, and would buy again. Shipped promptly.

Nice Drill Press Upgrade
Nice sturdy large table. Was concerned about it only having 2 points of attachment but it seems sturdy enough. The rounded corners of the replaceable insert make it a PIA to make new ones & I see no reason why they did it. The white laminate surface does chip fairly easily. I managed to chip both the insert & the table cut out right off the bat just putting it in & taking it out. [cue appliance touch up paint]. I also took the time to glue in the aluminum track clamping inserts as I felt the little bitty < 1/2" screws did not provide adequate hold in the particle board material given their function. All told, its certainly nicer than something I could have built myself.

Great drill press top !
Excellent !!!!! Good thick laminated top and underside. I track rail on the underside, excellent craftmanship. No burr over screws, the top is a laminate with (2) two T - Track standard configuration front to back. You have two (2) tension clamps for mounting to your drill press table be it round - square. It also comes with ( 2) two laminate sacrificial plates for drill. A pit has been designed into the table top these plates fit snuggly into that pig, on the ( 4 ) four corners you have either #6-#8 flush head screw for a leveling the insert. I have already traced around the sacrificial plate for several more back ups. The plates are 1/4 inch thick. Using a scroll saw or copping saw you can make your own plates. FYI: The T tracks both on the top & bottom don't over tighten them they are only aluminum extrusions. I see many people in their home shop yanking millions pounds of torque on the clamps nuts, They don't need to be that tight " Snug" if you drill a long piece of aluminum / steel use an extra clamp on the side that would get the rotation from the drill passing through the material, an be safe use safety glass when drill anything. You only have 2 eyes .

Excellent drill press table
Excellent add on for my Jet 14" drill press. I had no problem installing it, the instructions were very clear and logical. The big concern was if I was going to be able to turn the handle to raise and lower the table, no problem there. The fit and finish are excellent, and the hold-down clamps work great for securing items to the table. Unless you want something a lot fancier, this is an excellent basic table.

Just okay
Easy to assemble. Fits on my Fox drill press well. The only thing I don’t like, and it’s a big one. The fence doesn’t slide back all the way so it limits the depth oh the object being drilled. Kind of negates it’s use in many cases.

Worth every penny except...read the review .
A five star product but I had to give it four stars because every piece of this table is high-quality except for the small wood screws that hold the T slot channels. They claim they are #6-1/2”but in actuality they are 3/8”. They are soft cheap metal that strip easily when trying to tighten them. The threads are shallow. Had to go to Home Depot to buy better quality wood screws for @ $2 and 5/8” works best. Other than that I would have no reservation in buying this table again. Saves me a lot of time and trying to build one on my own. Fits perfectly on my Wen 4225 drill press. Does not interfere with the table crank arm.
