Swing1 Inner Disc Technology (S1 iD) allows the barrel to flex to its maximum allowable performance level from Swing 1. Two inner discs are positioned inside the barrel at the sweet spot to stop the barrel from flexing past the performance limit, giving players maximum allowable performance. Thinner high-strength and light-weight graphite fibers allow for reduced wall thickness, creating better performance while maintaining durability. Thinner graphite fibers allow use of more layers in the barrel for added strength, but with an overall wall that is thinner. 2 5/8" barrel, -3 oz. without grip. Synthetic grip, 31/32" tapered handle. Louisville Slugger end cap. Meets BBCOR bat standards.

WOW - Great Bat!
First of all I couldn't believe the Amazon price. It was lowest of all internetplaces I looked and the bat wasn't available at the local level. Service and deliverywas typically Amazon great. No disappointments.Second, even though it was a new product it was almost 2 years old in stock."Old Stock" never performed better and WOW did that ever help lower thepurchase price. The all composite construction was betterthan expected and may even be superior to those that are being built today.What remains uncertain is how it will last given the active play of kids in the13-15 age group. My son has hit some nice line drives even though it is notcompletely broken in and he believes it is awesome now.

Balanced Bat
My son says it feels lighter than his -5 and he thinks the ball carries further. Too bad his coach gave him wrong info that his Legion team was using -3 bats then later said only wood bats. Maybe would have loved it if my son used it in some games

great bat
wow! what a letdown.... i've never seen a price drop so fast. Bat is decent for the bbcor thing but my league went all wood so........lucky me....anyway, was shipped fast- no problems with the service but now it's more of a trophy or to be used in the cages....

Perfect for my long ball hitter!
My son saw this in an Eastbay catalog and wanted it. He plays baseball at a very high level so he needs the best equipment but we're not as wealthy as some of his AAU team mates which can present a challenge. Thank goodness for the internet! Between Ebay and Amazon I've been able to get him top of the line equipment at rock bottom prices! It's been a life saver.

Bad sound but easy swing
Bad sound but easy swing~ i got 3 hit with this bat but when i hit the balls and hear sound i doubt whether i hit sweet spot

My son loves this z1000 bat and is happy to have it as the 2 he had had ...
My son loves this z1000 bat and is happy to have it as the 2 he had had issues but he did give them a pounding over 4 years. Balanced and just make good contact ball just takes off.

My sons mizumo bamboo composite bat brole in two uses so this was needed. It is great and he hits well. It is not as good as besar but we must switch to bbcor next year so its better than wood.

Not used for a total of one season and the bat is dead
This bat was used through one fall ball season... 8 weeks...At the start of this season he has hit with it a couple of times and now the bat is dead and stings his hands so bad every time he hits he cannot use it...Very disappointed in paying 294.00 for a bat and do not even get a total of a years use out of it. I should have stuck with my instincts and stayed with Demarini...
