What are the dimensions of this palette?

The dimensions are about 7" x 3 1/4". The height is 5/8" tall and the wells are 3/8" deep.

Are the wells slanted?

The ceramic paint pelette with 9 wells is not slanted, as the picture shows.

Is there a lid for it?

No, I just plan on putting Saran Wrap around it to keep the dust out when I have paints in it. It a beautiful white palette—pure white, not grayish white.

Could this work for dipping sauces? are the wells deep\large enough?

No. The wells aren’t deep enough nor large enough for dipping sauces. It is perfect for small to medium sized watercolor mixing, however.
