Was looking for some fancy ice pack for my ankle that I could use on either side, either foot - and all these other braces were ridiculously expensive. This wrap, which is flexible, usable on both ankles, and keeps cold for a decent amount of time (15min) did the trick - I love this thing! Another reviewer was concerned that the ice pack that you put in the pouch would break in a week, which from looking at it - looks like it should break from bending. Yet, I've had no problems with it. Sturdy, yet flexible. The stretchy band is at least 18" long and flexible enough to wrap 2x around my ankle. Heck, if it did break - who cares? It is very reasonably priced. Try it for gosh darned sake.PS - I have no experience with it as a heat pack.UPDATE - The one I purchased 3 years ago still works great, but I needed another one so I could rotate hot/cold treatment. No question this is the best one to get. DO NOT waste money on other garbage heat/cold wraps. Get this.

These are the most comfortable, convenient, easy to use packs I've ever used. I'm glad to have found them at such an affordable price. I bought 3 and use them for my wrists and ankles primarily but also for my knees, hands and thumb. I have arthritis and nerve damage from diabetes so I'm sure they'll find use in a lot of other places. I didn't know they're only good for one use at a time which means they have to be froze for 1 1/2 hours each time before they can be used and will only last for 15 minutes per use. Considering all of my needs, that isn't much. However, that doesn't take anything away from their value. These are still great and server their purpose well. Down the road I may buy a couple more of these and ice all of my ailing areas at once, or I may look into a longer lasting pack. I'm not sure which. But, either way, I do think these are of great quality and I'm happy to have purchased them.

We have multiple of this ice pack. It seems. To have the correct amount of protection from ice burning. It also never leaks. It wraps up easy to store. It is not scratchy and is soft on your skin and the Velcro is perfect to hold it on multiple body parts. My children love to use it on ankles and knees and elbows. I use it on my back and shoulder. The design is not flashy but the fit gets the job done.

I have been well satisfied with the Muller cold wrap that I've been using for two months now.It comes with a removable cold pack that you can freeze or boil. Though I have never needed to boil it for heating. The pack itself is made of simple food-service packaging which I will get to in more detail later.The sleeve that holds the ice pack has two sides. The entire back is velcro adhereable(sic?). The other side is a fine net that provides good heat transfer from the ice pack and is soft enough to feel nice to bare skin. The sleeve is sealable with another velcro strip.The white wrap is made of nylon that allows for a nice tight wrap around the icing area. It is also Velcro adhereable. Very Functional.Overall the Muller Cold/Hot pack is a very functional product. However, I can't give it five stars for one reason. I foresee that this product is not built to last. The stitching between the two sides of the sleeve are not very strong. The ice pack is made of food-service packing material That feels like it could leek at anytime. The white wrap portion is already starting to fray from repeated velcro wear.I am happily willing to accept these drawbacks as a trade off for the low price I paid ($11.95). For the occasional injury this product is a great therapeutic device. However, if you need a icepack for long term use, it may be worthwhile to find a more quality built product. (Or just buy two of these!)*UPDATE: One Year Later*11/7/2013- I have been using this pack for about 16 months at this point and everything is still working properly. I feel I have to take back my comments on it being "not built to last" because I really had nothing to base those statements on except for my suspicions. The pack is still being used by me about once every two weeks and I've had no problems. Yes, the velcro frays the white strap, but this is a purely aesthetic issue. No harm has come of it.Overall I'm still satisfied a year later!

These actually stay in place due to very strong Velcro. Fold up to go into the freezer so they don’t take up much room. We just replaced the ones we’ve had for over 10 years due to the Velcro wearing out a bit. We also use them in the cooler sometimes as they work great and lie flat! I wouldn’t buy any other brand.

I love the wrap the only thing I wish they would do is get rid of the Velcro and use snaps , I use them myself and it’s hard to get the Velcro open with it without nails , lol !Plus my father who at the time was 95 was using it and if I didn’t open it up for him there was no way he could get that Velcro open ! Just a suggestion. If you do put snaps on , would love some credit for it ! lol thanks Christine Borkowski

Easy to use! Easy to remove! I ordered two to use on my injured ankle & wore the 2 together at bedtime..Ice packs were at top of ankle and under ankle. They stay cold 20 minutes. Worked great! I could walk with them on.I also ordered others, very expensive but returned because they were impossible & this cheap affordable stretch velco wrap was just what I needed. I keep the cold pack in the sleeve and folded band around ice pack and placed in freezer. Take from freezer and put on.

Mueller makes the absolute best ice packs. I had one these about 10 years ago to help after knee surgery. I found a new one like it and bought as an extra. The wrap with Velcro really helps hold the ice pack where you need it to be. Highly recommend.
