These hangers are strong and durable. When you receive them make sure to tighten the little nut on the back of the plate to give the hanger some resistance swiveling back and forth. Don't overtighten it because it needs to swivel, but it should take a little pressure to reposition it. That way you can set the hanger at the angle you want and it will stay there when you take the guitar off. This eliminates the hassle of trying to match the contour of your headstock every time you hang the guitar back up. I provided a photo of an asymmetrical headstock sitting in the hanger. It remains in that position even when the guitar is off, making it a breeze to safely and quickly switch guitars during a jam session. Originally, I intended to put a pad behind each guitar so they would swing and hit the wall, but the electrics hang far enough away to avoid this. Acoustics, however, may require adding a block of wood behind the hanger to position it further from the wall. A medium sized acoustic will fit ok, but a large one will touch the wall. By the way, my guitars have been hanging for a month and the only thing I've noticed is that they stay in tune better. No sagging or bending of the hangers at all!

Guitar wall hanger device are made well and provide good support. I recommend the seller / user use larger nylon wall inserts with slightly larger screws to maintain a much more secure wall mount that will not come loose from the sheet-rock wall.

I was a bit worried about the mounting hardware that ships with it. However, I used a 3/16ths drill bit to put a small hole in the drywall and lightly tapped the plastic anchor into the wall. The rest was easy as all you had to do was screw in some screws. Since they "auto-level" when placing a guitar in it, you don't have to be perfectly level. However, I do recommend using a level when making your marks and drilling your holes so it comes out professional. Good Luck and Happy Picking! Your friend in Virginia, Paul

I attached them to tile using different anchors and screws then the ones includes. Works exactly as intended. Easy to bend the hands for larger necks.I installed only using the 2 top screws into a tile wall with heavy duty anchors. I could almost hang my weight off of it and it wasn't going anywhere.Even with the larger bodied classical guitars, the hanger protrudes enough to space the guitar from the wall perfectlyI would trust these with any guitar
