Wizard Of Oz Dorothy Ruby Slippers

These were more comfortable, cuter AND cheaper than the low-quality shoes at the local costume shop. SCORE!I love that they are not made with glitter. I hate glitter. It gets EVERYWHERE and I feared I'd have red speckles all over my white tights. But, since it's not glitter... no problem! :)I ordered a size medium and the tag says it fits 7-8. I wear a size 8 and they are actually a tiny bit loose, but still completely usable. I doubt it'd fit an 8.5 though.

The shoes are beautiful, don't get me wrong, but I was expecting sequins or glitter not stuff that looks like crunched up aluminum foil. I ordered these as my wedding shoes as well, but like 99% of the reviews say, they do run extremely small. All in all, I am happy with them I just wish the description was more detailed.

Great look and the kids loved it. I wear a size 8.5 and got the med. It was an exact fit but a little tight in the toe. If you are just going to be taking pictures perfect. Otherwise, I would suggest going one size larger and wear thick socks. Overall I was very pleased.

I was very weary about ordering shoes online, as I have feet issues and bunions. I ordered the large and I am size 10 and they fit perfect. Yes, the sizing is really weird, they need to change that to a shoe size. They were for ahlloween but I find myself wearing them occasionally to go out. They do not have sewn on sequins so they dont fall off which is great. The bow is plastic and so are the inside of the shoes. THe toe comes a little higher unlike most flats that they are making now there the toe is cut lower in the shoe. These are great I love them!!

I wanted to get cute shoes to go with my dorothy costume for my work party, i looked at all of the options and these were exactly what i wanted. after ready the reviews i thought it was a no brainer to get the more expensive ones because they were what i wanted and the reviews were great! But no.... i get home and see the package outside my front door, i was so excited to open them and see what i was going to be wearing to the costume party at work. When i opened them to my surprise they were nothing like the picture or description.......they are supposed to be FLATS not HIGH HEELS!!!!! they are supposed to be made with nice materials and be sturdy they are not. More then anything they are supposed to be what the picture and the description are!!!!!!! I am so furious that they are selling these for $35.00 and they are not what they say they are going to be? now i have to rush and try to find something else and have to deal with returning these and inconvenience myself more then i already have been...... not happy.....will probably not buy shoes from this seller or any other seller on amazon..

I ordered these shoes to go along with my Dorothy costume for Halloween. I normally wear a size 7 and the medium size of these shoes fit my feet just fine. Even though they weren't loose on my feet, the soles were so stiff that the shoes slipped off my heels when I walked. I put some old insoles into the shoes to try and make them even more snug so they wouldn't slip off. This helped a little bit but now the shoes were quite snug and they still slipped of sometimes. By the end of the day on Halloween my feet were pretty unhappy.

Fit: I ordered a medium 7-8 after reading reviews that the large was very large. Normally I wear an 8 1/2 to 9. They were snug at first but stretched within hours, so I think it's fair to say the medium is true to size.Comfort: If they had been a little larger an insole would have added some support and cushion. I have problematic feet and was able to make it through a full day with no pain, blisters or trouble.Quality: They held up a full day with plenty of walking and seem well made for the price. I paid $16.Appearance: At first I thought they might not be the right look since the film version of the slippers has a dance/character shoe type heel. No cause for concern. The sparkly material looked spot on and it didn't shed or leave marks on the floor.Overall, I'm happy with them and received lots of compliments. I wore them with striped tights as the Wicked Witch of the East, not Dorothy. They looked sharp.

These are absolutely beautiful and they are extremely comfortable! Only problem is if you are a size 9 get the next size up cause it is a bit tight for size 9, other then that we bought this for our 12 year old for trick or treating purposes so her feet will not hurt! I absolutely recommend this too everyone, just watch for sizes!
