Smooth taste & trusted ingredients!
I really love this brand of Matcha. I've tried dozens of brands looking for one that was not only organic and ceremonial, but also tasted good enough to drink regularly. This one ticks all 3 boxes. It's cleanly made, it has intention, it dissolves better than most in both cold and hot water so it blends well, and it has a smoooooth.. taste. Yes, it's matcha so it has a green grass taste as they all do, but this is gentle, not bitter and no lingering aftertaste. I really enjoy it. I find my energy is up, but I don't get jittery so that's a bonus. If you're looking for a healthy and delicious Matcha, this is the one.

What a Bargain!
First off this is the value of the year for me! This Matcha is one of the best tasting I've had so far. My favorite was from Nana, but is no longer available and tried others but didn't like them. This tea has a hint of sweetness all by itself so I only have to add a pinch of honey for my liking. By itself with no sweetener the tea stands alone just fine....Highly recommended.

Exceptional quality for the price
I've shopped around and tried many poor quality matchas. It seems like. the ceremonial grade is always too steep for my budget. This ceremonial grade is very smooth, generally a bright grass green if it's been stored properly. I recommend not bringing the water to a complete boil and scalding the matcha. It will cause it to turn a darker brownish color and will not taste as good or retain the nutrients. Just heat til it steams a bit and is like a bath that you made a little bit too hot to get in. I personally add almond milk and a touch of maple syrup to make a dairy free matcha latte. Also, so yourself a favor and buy one of the bamboo whisk matcha tea sets. I found one on amazon for $10 that's quality from Japan. It helps the matcha distribute much more evenly avoiding a lot of powder falling to the bottom.

My Favorite Matcha
As a matcha lover this is the one I always come back to- it has the best flavor! Slightly sweet and earthy but no bitterness. I drink this daily and this has been the go to brand for years.

Not pure matcha – contains brown rice solids
I was really disappointed with this product. I bought it thinking it was pure matcha, but after checking the ingredients, I found out it contains “organic brown rice solids.” That’s completely unnecessary and quite misleading for customers who are looking for 100% authentic matcha. The rice only dilutes the quality and flavor of the tea, and the packaging gives the impression that it’s pure matcha. I wouldn’t buy this again or recommend it to anyone looking for real Japanese matcha.
