I have a couple of other Acebeam flashlights and I love their quality. Really top-notch materials and machining.I didn't want a crazy bright high lumen light for a headlamp for many reasons, one being you can't look at anyone without blinding them. I mostly use lights for fishing at night and I carry my super bright ones with me, my headlamp is just to see close by, baiting hooks ect..I will come out and say, from my experience with high power lights I seriously doubt this light is 1050 lumens, not even close. For me, that's not a bad thing, it is the perfect brightness on high or just under high for what I want.I wanted a good priced, good quality, weatherproof headlamp and that is what I got.If you want high lumens, look at more expensive options.The light has infinite lumen adjustments, (like the dimmer switch in your house) which is nice. And it has memory so once you set it, it always comes on at your preferred brightness with the option to double click for turbo.The headband is also great quality and adjusts nicely to a comfortable fit.

Used it three times ... on the third time after a week of using it, it no longer works properly. The light will go on for 2 second and then die. Brand new battery n no movement and it still turns off on it's own after 2 or 1 seconds. Worthless!

I use it for working in a dark crawl space. The light accepts AAs but I use 14500 rechargeable cells for longer life. The light stays lit for about 3-4 hours then blinks to signal discharge. The beam is small but adequate.

It was ok when it worked. It will not turn on now
