Bandai Hobby - Gundam Build Fighters - #14 Crossbone Gundam Maoh HGBF 1/144 Model Kit

The crossbones GUNDAM moah was my favorite out of my gunpla trio of the moah X and star build strike. It was easy to build, came with a healthy amount of accessories and had amazing articulation (excluding the head which can only look down) along with the most playability. Overall, the GUNDAM crossbones moah was a very fun and simple kit. My only complaint was how small it was. Compared to the Starbucks and moah X, it was about a head smaller. However, I got over this very easily after playing with it for a few hours and it quickly became my most favorite of the build fighters line. Another thing that I wasn't happy about was the price for this petit robot. For around $21-19 I was a little weary about purchasing this model kit. ( it's a good thing that it has a awesome chest cannon, concealed by a opening skull and peace hands to sell me in.)

Wow!! Just wow!! I have been waiting for a while now for a HG Crossbone kit, and this was worth the wait. The Gundam is custom made Gumdam from the character Maoh Yasaka from the new Gundam anime Gundam Build Fighters. I purchased this kit for 20 dollars and boy oh boy do you get your bang for your buck! This kit has a crazy amount of weapons and not to mention a freakin skull satellite cannon on its chest! In total you get two regular beam sabers, 2 beam sword guns, 2 heat daggers, 2 knives that attach to the Crossbone's feet, buster gun, and two beam sabers that attach onto the backpack that are fully possible and freely moving! The kit also comes with a bunch of different hand allowing you two get a great range of posses with all the weapons you have at your disposal. Rather amusingly you get two peace sign hands to replicate Maoh's iconic pose Ha! Right out off the box this kit looks great! the only thing I did was use a Grey Gundam lining marker and some gold paint for these two little grey blades that looked a bit bland in grey. I am truly shocked at the amount of parts this kit came with, Bandai could of gone the cheap route and used big obnoxious stickers bur they didn't. Most of the color separation you see is actual small parts and not Stickers. The stickers that are provided however look great;. Its hard to see in the picture but the are this really nice metallic sky blue looks great! Also surprising is how stable the kit is. I assumed with the backpack attached my kit wouldn't be stable but it is! The kit is also very flexible and can achieve some awesome poses. I way to often give five star raitings but this HG kit truly deserves more than that though so I give Cross Bone Gundam Maoh 10/5!

The kit arrived in a timely manner and was in almost perfect condition. The box was a little crushed, but the sprues were fine. It took me around four hours to build this kit, but it would have taken less if I hadn't temporarily lost the little red crotch piece. I'm not personally a fan of the Beam Cutlass or the Beam Flintlock Pistol, but they do look nice. Everything came together well but I did have a bit of a problem getting the stickers on the bones and the stickers on the skull on.

This kit comes with a lot of attachments. there are so many weapons that you almost cannot run out of posing possibilities. I love the colors and the uniqueness of this kit. The decals were not too tiny and numerous. My only complaint is how flimsy this kit feels. Maybe it is just my particular model. The head pops off all the time but that is not nearly as bad as the ball joint between the hips and the torso. It just falls apart. I think I can remedy this by putting a layer of glue on the ball joint to make is a little larger. Overall its a nice and unique kit. It poses nicely on the action base.

Just an all around fun kit, and probably the most unique design (imo) I've seen yet. Yee it is smaller in size (5 inches or so) but exactly matches my RG X1 Crossbone to scale at 1/144. Not overly detailed, and a very fast build (an hour). Poses great and doesn't seem janky, the loosest part is probably the neck pivot, but that's easy to baby, not a part that gets heavily articulated when posing. Weapons included are great, although they are completely grey. 9/10, would like to see some more color, but for what it is I cannot complain in the slightest.

Box arrived dented, and crushed. Package was also opened prior to packing for shipping. No clear seal plastic on box, was just tethered shut, not even taped. Will update review if parts are missing. Runners are all present but parts are free floating in runner bags, not attached to their mold Gates. Update. All parts were present, and assembly was adequate. Posing nearly impossible. Joints constantly popping apart, or not stiff to hold weight. Does not stand on it's own . Sadly I was told it would, so i did not order a base. Otherwise it's a well detailed kit.

This was a gift for my 14 year old son. It came sooner than expected and was way higher quality than expected. He loved it. It's a very intricate model that was easy to assemble without adhesives, but very detailed and with highly articulated joints. The price was very low compared to the value and quality. Very impressed with this item and seller.

One of my favorites in my small gunpla collection. Very articulated but slightly small compared to the others in the Gundam universe. Also has A LOT of accessories which makes posing it very interesting and allows room to experiment.

The HG Gundam Crossbone Maoh is a fantastic piece of art with a great sculpt. Though the color scheme is pleasant and soothing, the skull on the chest and the bone like weapons give off a dark and grim vibe. Its a great looking pirate MS, a proper homage to the crossbones line. It has great articulation and is quite sturdy though it is shorter than other HGs like Exia It comes with loads of weapons: * 2 bone like melee weapons with clear pink beam effects - the 2 can also be combined to form a double bladed staff like weapon, * 2 large clear pink beams that can be mounted on the backpack or on grey beam saber handles that are provided separately, * 2 normal clear pink beam sabers with hilts, * A beam cutlass and a flintlock pistol which can be combined together to form a rifle * a pair hand held knives and knives that can be mounted on the foot * many hands for different weapons and poses. The skull on the chest can open up to reveal its most powerful weapon, a cannon with firepower rivaling gundam x. The only cons i found in it are that the wrists are not strong enough to wield all weapons and droop down and come off easily and the forearm parts of my kit did not sit well and there was a gap between the parts, nothing that cant be fixed with some sanding and glue. All in all, this is a great buy, and is a must get for anyone who loves crossbones or pirate MS.( I have added a photo of mine below.)

I have had my eye on this kit for a long time and I finally bought it and I love him so much. He was easy to build, fun to make and looks amazing. It's worth very penny.

Bellissimo Gunpla HGBF, con teschio fatto veramente bene, arriva naturalmente come tutti i gundam da modellismo completamente smontato. Ci si arma di pazienza e tenacia e si possono montare in un lampo. Gli armamenti sono regolamentare e sono fatti molto bene. Ottimo il colore che da' un tocco particolare e di imponenza al gundam. Modello molto particolare e dettagliato da rifinire con colori sia acrilici che con smalti professionali e non, non lo dipingerei con smalti metallici ma lo lascerei del colore originale facendo solo piccole modifiche. Naturalmente non è adatto ai bambini perché non è un giocattolo ma è robusto non essendo estremamente compatto. Caduto a volte accidentalmente non si stacca nessun pezzo e rimane perfettamente nelle posizioni in cui si mette. Assolutamente consigliato. Perfetto sotto ogni punto di vista.

hgクロスボーンガンダムX1を持っているので、そんなに変わらないだろうと思い、店頭で売っているのを見ても、ずっとスルーしていました。 そんな中で、アマゾンのレビューを見て高評価が多く、買ってみようかと思い、購入。 作って見た結果はすごく良い。小型MSながら、クロスボーンガンの先端にビームエフェクトでクロスボーンソード、バックパックから伸びるサブアームにビームサーベルを持たせて4刀流、胸のドクロにはサテライトキャノンが仕込んであり、コックピットハッチを開けるが如く、ドクロを開けばスカルサテライトキャノンが展開できる仕組みがある。それと背部のリフレクターミラーユニット、本体のミラー部分がシールなのですが、きらきらと光を拾ってすっごい綺麗。ザンバスター、かかとのヒートダガーも付いてきます。 全体的に見て、武装が豊富、ギミックが凝っている、デザインが美しい、その上可動も良くて、悪い点が見当たらない良キットです。ガンダムX魔王と悩みましたが、こちらにして良かった！！！ 長々と書きましたが、作って楽しい、飾って格好良いと思いました。 最近ガンプラを前程買っていなかったのですが、再び作って見たいキット、これから発売される新しいキット(MGF91version2.0や、RE/ビギナギナなど)を作りたく、ワクワクしている今日この頃です。
