Dubai Kaftan Abaya Jalabiya Maxi Gown Hand Work Golden Beaded African Dress - White

This dress is beautiful. It is an inky saturated fuchsia, that is very deep in color. The stones are like crystals, seemingly hand sewn. Not cheesy at all. Glamorous as it can be. It consists of a crepe overlay with a polyester sheath dress underneath that is sewn into the crepe part at the collar area. The flowy crepe part is just like a big poncho in size. No problem there. However. They say the sheath/dress fits all sizes. Wrong. This dress will only fit up to XL AT BEST! The sheath is polyester with no give at all. I have a large chest and arms and I could get all of my self in the dress, but it was very uncomfortable. I had to have it hemmed, so I had the seamstress try to let it out enough in the arms and chest to make it more comfortable. The bottom part of the under dress fit fine. Not sure how that will work. I bought another dress that was very similar to this one last year and that one would fit any size. This one won’t. If you’re short don’t worry about hemming, while it is 2 “layers” (under sheath dress and over chiffon), there is no beading to contend with on the bottom, so it’s very straightforward. The company had incredibly quick shipping, but it was pretty expensive at $8. So while that was a bit high, it got to me quickly. The dress was made well, but when you are dealing with crepe/chiffon, it is a very delicate material, and there is a lot of material, so it is heavy. For example, you have to be careful with the back zipper because there’s a tendency for that kind of fabric to get caught.

The quality of the dress is good and beautiful! But the one that I received was very dirty with stains allover it! I supposed to received the dress on Tuesday but it came ealier on Friday to my big surprise the dress was use dirty with stains.

The hijab that was advertized in this item was missing.

It is comfortable and flowy. However, I am slightly disappointed, because I ordered this for an event and a new one won’t arrive in time if I reorder it.

Purchased this garment for Feast of Pentecost. The garment came in the mail within the time stated but it definitely got here faster than anticipated which was great. The bead work on the garment is beautiful and sturdy, I wore it all night and didn't have any mishaps of any beads falling off. Just wish that the slip that comes attached to the inside of the garment were more of a stretchy material rather than like a linen.

The dress although beautiful is not as advertised. The color I expected was fuschia. The dress I received is burgundy or maroon. S

Just extremely long. I will have to find someone to help me get it shorten before my trip in 10 days!!

So beautiful, but it’s missing the matching scarf as mentioned in the description, sending this back and ordering the pink one instead hoping that one will include the scarf
