Great choice I will use them mostly for watercolor painting . I love that even though some are large but will hold a tiny point . Wet then shape them need a flat brush it will be ,need a small sharp point it will hold . The smaller brushes are perfect for detail work. I carefully wet them in room temperature water then cleaned them with a quality brush soap dried them and cleaned a second time. I do this with all my brushes. Love them.

For the price, this set is a good value. There's cheaper brushes for sale, but the reviews complained of shedding hairs. A little more money I received good brushes with no shedding. The calligraphy brushes keep their shape and can be used also for watercolor. Yes I would recommend this product.

The brushes arrived today. They work wonderfully. I couldn’t wait to try them. They produced a wide variety of effects, from wide to VERY thin delicate lines. As you would expect from a brush titled “calligraphy”. They load lots of paint, so there are fewer needs to stop painting to reload the brush. The paint flowed easily with good control. They are comfortable in the hand. The brush is shaped in such a way you can lay it down without it touching the work surface. The bamboo roll up case is beautiful. The only problem I encountered was that they shed hairs. I hope that this was because they are new, and will stop shedding soon. At this moment I am extremely happy with them.

These brushes have become one of my favorites. I didn't think that I would love them so much. I don't use many of the larger ones, but I'm sure that they will be used in the future. I like the bamboo case, but it wasn't necessary, as I have enough cases for brushes, but it's a nice thing to have. The smaller and medium size brushes are really handy and versatile... ESPECIALLY if you do hand lettering. Just gorgeous. :) I did try to use them for a background... and I can see why folks use them for landscaping. :) I'm glad that I made the purchase. I don't have anything bad to say about them. --- Be sure that you prep your brushes well before their first use. :)

Excelente inversión. Son varios pinceles, varios tamaños por un accesible precio. La calidad de los mangos no es la mejor, pero que se va a exigir a ese precio. Son excelentes a la hora de pintar, la punta no se deforma y la carga de agua es mas que buena. He comprado pinceles caros, uno me costó $75 y para nada me satisface a la hora de pintar como estos. Se han vuelto mis pinceles preferidos. Recomendación: Si quieres que te duren mas, puedes laminar los mangos. Los accidentes pasan.

The brushes I was sent looked nothing like the pictures. There weren't 8 of them and they were in a small plastic tube not a bamboo wrap. Not happy and have ordered another set from somebody else. Not sure what happened but I was ripped off.
