They're exactly what theyre supposed to be, same thing I've been wearing for 25 years. 8mm is very small, they're perfect for the upper part of my ear lobe (NOT the cartilage) where the ear is thinner. They're as difficult to close as every continuous hoop-meaning if you don't like/have difficulty with continuous hoops, these will not be for you. For myself, I prefer them because they are so hard to lose, and it took me about fifteen seconds to put them in because I'm used to doing this. My best suggestion for those struggling with them is open and close every earring before putting it in your ear, sometimes the 'post' wire needs a gentle nudge to be bent in the right direction. They won't be for everyone because everyone has a personal preference, but for me they were perfect, exact quality of every other pair of this type I've ever worn, closed perfectly, nice and secure.

These are the perfect replacement earrings for my small cartilage hoops. I got the silver 8mm and 10 mm pack. It comes with 4 pair: 2 pair 8 mm and 2 pair 10 mm. They are tight to close like other reviewers have said, but that's why I wanted them. Once I put these on, I don't take them out. I didn't have trouble putting them in, but I've been using these type of earrings for 26 years. They are comfortable to wear 24/7, since the hinge is flush with the hoop when they're closed. They're comfy to sleep on and everything. Bright, shiny, genuine sterling 925 silver as advertised. Great value and product. I would definitely buy these again. The measurements are accurate and are measured from the inner diameter of the hoop.

to my fellow earring wearers,yes. these are a BITCH to get closed. it took me over 20 minutes to get six in. i am NOT going to attempt my fourth holes at this moment, i fear i am not a strong enough warrior right now. through trials and tribulation, i have successfully gotten them in all of my first three holes. they arent for the faint of heart, but hot DAMN do they look good when they are in. they’re secure, comfortable, and are subtle and not too flashy, yet very cute earrings that add a nice touch to any outfit. will i be taking them out anytime soon? hell no. am i okay with that? absolutely. real talk, the biggest size arent very difficult to close, but the smaller you go the harder it gets. going against the saying, the smaller the hoop the bigger the hoe it is. end of the day, it was worth the infuriating struggle and i love the way they feel and look. if youre a brave soul, absolutely recommend!

These are very flimsy and will break before you can actually put them on. Unfortunately even taking one out of its package and unclamping it bent it sideways to the point I couldn’t use it. I will be returning them, and I’d advise you to purchase something with higher quality.

Unknown if the whole earing is silver as only post is stamped. Advert says they are silver earing but they don't have the weight of silver and are not stamped on the hoop. Also very difficult to put on. Not a bad price but would like clarification on earing material not just the post.

small and cute, but IMPOSSIBLE to close, even with help. would not recommend or buy again.
