Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini G800H 16GB HSPA Factory Unlocked GSM Smartphone - Gold

I love this phone! I brought the phone the end of February 2015 to replace my outdated Samsung Galaxy S2. Quite frankly I was skeptical to buy a phone not released by my cellphone service provider, but I read some reviews, watched some review videos on YouTube and read articles for this phone. This seemed like a perfect phone for my daily needs and it is. Since I don't do much heavy duty stuff with my phone. Just the simple texts and apps.Pros- Works with my cellphone provider. (T-Mobile USA)- PRICE.- Fits comfortably in my small feminine hands.- The back cover for the battery feels comfortable and nice. (Reason why I'm foolishly putting off buying a case for it.)- Works well with recent apps.- Long battery life. (About 12-18 hours, if you moderately use the phone throughout the day.)- Has great camera quality.- No flap for the USB port that the Samsung Galaxy S5 has. (It's still water and dust resistant.)- Still has many of the features in the Samsung Galaxy S5.Cons- IS NOT compatible with 4G LTE, but you can get 3G. Most days I'm on Wi-Fi so it doesn't affect me as much.- No warranty.- Noticeable lag in some apps.

I love my White Samsung S5 Mini.It has good size (don't like big phones that feels more like a small tablet, only my very personal opinion)Screen is very bright and colorfullGreat camera (for a phone) even in movement situationsGood battery time, considering my screen is always at full brightness, I think it does very good job surviving a day and a half, but it doesn't last long when I use the gps, maybe 10 hours or less.Woks great, I haven't had any freezing problem, or reset issue.My only complaint is that, I don't know why since I've asked and no everyone who bought this phone have had this issue, but this phone doesn't charge with just any car charger, I had to buy an Original Samsung one to make it charge in the car. I tried several USB cables, several chargers, and nothing, and since I have three more Samsung phones and they all charge with any of my chargers or USB cables, it has to be some problem with the phone. Anyway, as I said I bought a Samsung Car Charger and now charges fine, so problem solved.By the way, it charges normally with any of my Samsung wall chargers.

The service via Amazon and vendor is excellent. Now to the phone. The phone is great, features and ease of use are also excellent, network connectivity works well on GSM carrier T-Mobile in central Florida, basically I get 42 Mbps speed using their 1700 and 1900 bands for HSPD+ speeds. Quality of construction is excellent, nice AMOLED screen, perfect size for my wife that doesn't need a 5" tablet phone that is hard to balance in one hand. The items that one has to be aware of are it is the S5 mini 3G WCDMA, 2G GSM phone, it a international version made for the African/Arabian markets (Persia in particular) and therefore there is no US warranty on this item at all. Get a SquareTrade warranty! As a matter of fact, you can't even register it on the http://www.samsung.com/za/consumer/mobile-phone/ website. This model has the G800HXXU1ANGF modem that is compatible on North American carriers, the Android version is the G800HXXU1ANH5 (KitKat 4.4.2). For less than half the price of the S5 locked version from US carriers, it is well worth the price and one is not locked in to a specific carrier. This vendor had an excellent price that beat out Ebay vendors as well.

Fantastic seller. Phone arrived a few days earlier than expected. It came with a European plug, but no big deal since you can just swap it out with a US version. I am in Michigan and use AT&T service. The company store was able to get me up and running with no issues. The did explain that I am not on 3G nor 4G...I believe they said HSPA? ......which they explained may not be as fast as 4G, but it will pick up more towers. I am not thrilled with the camera quality, but that may be my own fault for not looking into the camera specs. I do have dropped calls, however not sure if this is an AT&T problem or the phone (I am new to AT&T, had Verizon since cell phones came out and never had a dropped call). So I can't say if its the phone or the carrier. Every now and then I will be composing a text or in another app and the app closes and I find myself at the home screen. But after reopening text the message was saved so again not a big deal. Other than all that........I LOVE this phone. The size is perfect (I was used to an iphone 4s), the graphics/color is amazing, very bright, and it has the loudest volume for a phone I have ever heard. I definitely would recommend this phone and seller :-)
