I've been doing this to myself for a while (years) but never found a brand I liked and don't have the time or patience to make it myself. This is my favorite brand now. Ingredients are simple, sugar, water, and citric acid (lemon juice). Will definitely be buying again when I run out. I bought the medium hardness and just take a ball of it out. I like it a bit smaller than a golf ball but you'll find the size that works best for you. I warm it up with my hand a bit then just start applying and flicking it while it's still firm and clear. I don't expect to get much the first few times but it helps build up the pain tolerance and to get the motions down. I do powder my leg with a very light dusting of corn starch or baby powder first. It is perfect once the paste goes from clear to opaque. I just keep going around my leg until the paste gets gooey. For reference I'm tall and can do half of a leg before it's too warm and I discard, rinse my hands off, and get another ball. It can be a bit tough to get out of the jar but just keep pinching and you'll get the chunk you need. If any get stuck to my leg I just use the ball to flick it off. I don't use gloves as it's very easy to rinse off. I also have a plastic applicator to use if I don't feel like getting my hands messy. (Also helps prevent finger fatigue) I could keep at my leg until it was completely smooth but I don't want to waste product so once I just have a few straggling hairs I use tweezers or an epilator to finish. The ingrown hair solution is also good. It even helped clear out a few unrelated hair bumps and left my legs feeling silky. Highly recommend this kit if you want to go down the sugaring rabbit hole. Review: Success with a learning curve - This stuff works great if you know how to use it. I’m still learning but slowly getting better (I think, I hope!). I try to warm it up a little depending on if I’m going to use it as strips or not. Feels amazing to not have to shave nonstop in the summer!

This is the right brand to get

Success with a learning curve

Know what consistency you need!
I actually get waxed at the same companies wax center and thought I would give it a go myself or have my bf do it for me. At the professionals they would use a mix of hard and soft wax for my pubuc hair since it has been growing back very fine since I started waxing. My bf used to use a different brand but a hard consistency, to which he prefers. This medium consistency wax is a bit harder to maneuver. for beginners I would opt for their hard wax so keep that in mind! This is an huuuge tub of wax aswell so choose your consistency carefully if you’re on a budget. Other than that we have worked around it and love the wax and I also really enjoy the I grown serum. When shaving I had never had a single ingrown in my life until I stared waxing(my 4th appt) made my ingrowns horrendous and I exfoliate so remember every body is different and this ingrown spray has really helped keep Mine at bay. Hope this review helped!

Love this stuff...
I have been using this since Covid to do my own Brazilians. Yes, it does take getting used to but it works. Since shops opened back up, I started going back to my esthetician but I still use this to sugar my underarms. Great value, can last over a year!

Softer manipulation
I’ve been doing my own sugaring for the past few months. I’m still catching the hang of this but it’s simple when you catch the perfect median of heat/hand movements. This wax is softer so you may find yourself getting stuck but if that’s the case, use wax paper strips & that also removes the hair & sugar. The first sugar paste I tried was the hard & while it was easier to manipulate being firm, that’s what also kept bruising my skin. I’m going to keep using this one.

Easy to Use
This product is very easy to use and does a great job of removing hair with minimal pain

Tough to get the temperature right
I get one good handful. Luckily I can do a good amount with the handful. The second handful is always way to sticky.

Can't believe I bought this crap
Was recommended to me by a friend....who I know now just got "yeah! get sugar paste!" recommended to her and haven't ever used it. Have heated it up, not heated it up, put on with a butter knife, rolled into a a ball (per Youtube videos), it literally melts into a gooey mess of crap within moments. I can't believe I really thought this might work for hair removal. Like literally within 30 seconds, it's like trying to handle actual sticky honey in your hands....won't ball up, won't adhere to anything, to itself. This s*** is terrible.
