Jiggly Greenhouse® Ground Post Driver for 1 5/8" OD Pipe - Post Driver Cap

Two of the three that I ordered came used, one was not even repacked, just wrapped in tissue paper. These did work for me, how could they not? Customer service responded when called, agreed to keep them, but was not offered any discount for the used condition. Had they thrown me a few dollars I would have been more satisfied with the item. I needed them immediately for a project and they are perfectly usable after a few uses so the condition was not a problem, had this been any other item or if I had the time to wait I would have returned them for new ones.

I wish it would have been designed to drive pipe and not damage the threaded end. For posts its fine but for driving anything that needs the threaded end don't use this. Also like anything else you hit with a sledge hammer or jackhammer it's going to go bad after a while because your hitting it with a hammer or a 37 lb post pounder!

Works great. Just be sure not to use in in the swedged (smaller diameter) end of your 1 5/8 inch rail - I did, and it got stuck, but with great effort, we got it unstuck, and used it on the larger end from then on.

This does work well. With the exception that it does mushroom the end some. The fence rails still fitted. So the mushrooming isn't to bad. I would recommend buying this. Just be aware that it will damage the end slightly.

This thing takes a pounding. Used it to drive 150 posts. Held up well.

I pounded 8, four foot poles two feet into the ground. I was surprised that the this post driver cap did begin to mushroom for only driving such a small number of posts. Would expect it to be more durable.

What can you say...? It's a block of steel for hitting with a large hammer. I hit it a lot and it does a great job of protecting the posts I am driving.

Used it to install the dock post. It really fit good in the 2 inch post and did not bounce out when hit with the sledge hammer. It didn't flare the ends of the posts either.
